Ended up here by mistake, but no regrets. The staff friendly and attentive. Ordered the Coconut Shrimp, very good, the dipping sauce
was fresh and left you questioning the level of spiciness. End result, it wad delightful. I had the Stir Fried Cashews with Pork. Had it spiced to a level 3, done to perfection, I’ll go back.
We found this restaurant on Zomato, and it is terrific. We ordered the spring rolls, green curry, and pad woon sen seafood. There was great flavor and generous portions (we each took a lot home). The service was great too. It is a small restaurant and has a very homey feel. It doesn't look like a whole lot from the outside, but it must be well known because there was a constant flow of carry out traffic. We definitely recommend Joy's and will be going back when in the area.

The dishes are higher than average price, for what you receive, comparative to other Thai places/price in the cities. Very lovely place - quaint and homey. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
I had the Thai style Pho. Level 5 spiciness was for real. Great flavor great portion size. Amazing service. We also had the egg rolls, satay chicken, and curry fried rice, all very impressive flavors. We will definitely come back when we come back to MN.
My favorite Thai place! People are kind, the food is amazing and the presentation blows me away every time
Thai done right. We were staying nearby and decided to give Joys a try and were pleasantly surprised. We've eaten Thai all over the world and US and Joy's was right on. The Tom Kha wa so good I just wanted to drink the soup! The portions were big and our family of 4 had so much leftover and we ate till we were stuffed! The hostess and server were very very friendly. We have lived in Asia so used to grandmothers playing with babies while we eat and the older lady working here was very polite and asked if it was okay and so I was more than happy to let my 10 month old play while I ate in peace....a bonus I wish happened at more restaurants :). All and all we were pleased with price, portion, taste and service! Bonus was it was just a block from our hotel so we walked!
Very good Thai - hot, hot, hot
This is my family's new favorite restaurant. We have been here twice and we've loved everything, especially the thai tea! The first time we went was during happy hour and we split an appetizer sample that included coconut shrimp, egg rolls & wontons, all of which were fabulous and we had to have the second time back though we ordered two so we didn't have to share. I can't honestly remember all the entrees ordered, but our last time there we split the curry duck (having both had an appetizer, we still had leftovers to take home), which has pineapple in the sauce that balanced the spiciness perfectly. Everything we have had there has us excited and planning our next trip (we live an hour away), the plan is to work our way through the menu. If you go you'll find a tiny restaurant with an awesome staff that makes for a wonderful experience. Our server, Nigel, was very efficient and friendly. He understood that we were starving and he brought everything quickly. Nigel gave us some spring rolls to take home, which we really appreciated as neither of us have ever had them before and doubt would have ordered on our own. I have to say their spring rolls are delicious and I will be ordering them next time!
Best tom yum soup. Best Thai food in the Twin Cities. Love the tom yum soup - it's full of great seafood. Papaya salad with beef jerky is wonderful. Can't go wrong with anything at this place. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Great Thai in Richfield. I've been a fan of Thai food ever since I went to Thailand a couple years back and have been in search of great tasting thai food. This place does not disappoint in terms of taste, value, and service!
The curries are very flavorful and the portions are huge. The sticky rice is pretty good as well.
Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thais are bold in flavour and contain 'authentic' ingredients as far as I can tell. Of course being in North America, some ingredients have to be substituted.
Som Tom Salad is Thai spicy and sour and a real refreshing treat.
Coconut Shrimp Appetizer is to die for (coconut crusted! and probably put in coconut milk before frying)
Owner also often comes up with special dishes that gives you another tasty option from time to time especially for someone like me who goes 3-4 times a week (i'm from out of town).
Best of all, they have Chang beer!
Awesome local spot for tasty Thai food! Be warned they bring the heat!! The medium spice was hotter than anywhere else I’ve been - but still sooo good!!
I decided to eat pad Thai with chicken. It was very tasty, sweet, and had big chunks of chicken. They put the crushed peanuts on the side so I could mix them in. Did a 4 out of 5 spice level and it definitely could have been more spicy, I'll try 5 next time. Overall a nice sweet meal.
This little hole in the wall joint was a great surprise! They had great egg rolls, edamame, sweet & sour shrimp and shrimp Pad Thai food we've had in a long time! Don't miss this wonderful eating experience!!!
