Hands down the best sushi place in the Reno area.The fish is excellent. I love sashimi and this is the only place where I can trust the fish - fresh and delicious. Service in Sakana is amazing. The chefs are true artists. The management is kind and friendly. I only go to Sakana now and recommend it to everyone. A must try for sushi lovers - you won't go anywhere else after you try Sakana. Try the Ahi Poke and the Lion king roll - yum yum yum.
Always highest quality food here. The $20 all you can eat lunch is a screaming good deal! Includes soup, salad, appetizers, sushi, rolls, and dessert. Their homemade ice cream (various fruit flavors) is really light and tops off a great meal.

We got lucky and got in at not a super busy time and the food kept coming with all you can eat. Really fresh sushi and great appetizers. We were super full but definitely going back to try more.

We've been saving to take the kids out to Sushi. Sakana didn't disappoint. We love that it's not downtown. No need to fight traffic and hunt for a parking spot when one is within walking distance. Great place to go after the lunch crowd has left. I can see how service could be slow when it's really busy. Sushi was great and the appetizers plentiful. Glad to have them in the area!!
Amazing sushi in my favorite style: all you can eat! I left there so full I just wanted to go to sleep. Great selection of rolls with a good amount of diversity. The Nigeria fish to rice ratio was on point!
Always a good time, sushi can be a little slow when it's busy and there's no kids menu. Reasonably priced and laid back atmosphere.
Great place to eat all you can eat sushi. Very convenient to eat at especially if you live in Somersett. We come here once a month
