I can't tell you how much I love Chez Louie. This is honestly my favorite restaurant in all of Reno. I have never had a better meal in my life and the ambiance is top notch. It's a bit more on the pricy side but overall completely worth the cost with as high quality as the food is.
I highly recommend Chez Louie. We love the food, the people and the atmosphere. Bonus, after you eat, you can tour the Nevada Museum of Art. All of the food is fresh and local and prepared beautifully.
Very tasty vegetarian wraps, sandwiches and salads. The cookies and blackberries scones are delicious! Great ambiance and nice people, they also prepare catering for events. High quality and made with love
My wife and I decided to re-engage the world after the pandemic/lockdown era with a day date to the Nevada Museum of Art. We tried the restaurant on the first floor out of convenience.
The gentleman at the counter was friendly and welcoming. He even took the time to explain chef terms to me. We tried the mushroom asparagus soup, my wife had the chicken sandwich and I got the croque monsieur.
We chose a shady place in the outside dining area. It faces a quiet and quaint street with views of flowers and a sculpture. The soup was a nice surprise, rich and flavorful with just a little acidity. The chicken sandwich was one of the best lunch meals my wife has ever had.
We had lunch here yesterday for the first time. We were both very impressed, so nice and quite. A lady started to play the piano , so beautiful. The food was all organic and delicious. Can’t wait to return.
I had a delicious lunch here with my coworkers yesterday. The food was great and Jack gave us excellent service. The prices are a little high but the atmosphere of the museum makes it worth it and getting 10% off your bill for being a museum member helps.
The wife and I went to the Nevada museum of art to Chez Louie for Valentine dinner. It was a unique dining experience because of location. The wife had duck which was spectacular, My steak was delicious but was served too me on the cold side, hence 4 stars. The service was excellent. All in all we had a great time. We plan on going back.
I wish I could come in here more often for brunch but I really would not want my kids screaming and playing around. Food is absolutely amazing and always coming up with new creations. They also have some very nice low-key live music on Sundays as well that you can still have conversation over or sit back and enjoy.
