Came from up north and was staying in Raleigh. Decided to try some good bbq from a good spot. First off i am not one who chases cole slaw, but this was like nothing ive had before. Secondly, when they put the slaw on a pulled pork sandwhich, just made it even better. Everything from the bbq sauce to the chicken and ribs. Amazing. Best bbq i have been to in a long while.
Just came from Shane's and the food was great. My kids love it ! The place is always clean and the customer service is great by Thomas and Alexis. They work great together.
The food comes out hot and the quality is excellent. They make sure that your visit is worth the trip.

My sister and I went here for lunch today! The food was great, but the gentleman that waited on us was awesome and made me laugh! I love people with a great attitude and he had the best!
Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to speak about the music that was playing! It was the best! Old school R&B! I truly would have loved to have stayed and danced lol.

My company had Shane’s Rib Shack cater our party. I was so impressed with the taste of the food (I am a picky eater) And the guys/gals that put it all together that night were super amazing! I can’t wait to go and eat at the restaurant personally! Thank you for catering and sending your outstanding staff to put all of it together for us!
I've been to Shane's many times for lunch with fellow guys I work with. They make great ribs. They also have great BBQ chicken. The food comes out fast and the service is always great even when they are short staffed. This business is run correctly. The people working here care about the food they are putting out and the people they are providing for. I enjoy going here for lunch. Probably great for dinner or takeout also.
Food is great. Staff are good. Just adjacent side of Walmart.
We stopped in here for dinner on a Friday night. They took our order and seated us right away. This was my first time eating here so I ordered the Shack Sampler with ribs, grilled chicken tenders, slaw, & baked beans. Everything was really good and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Only negative thing was I kinda felt like the outer edges of the ribs were overcooked and hard. Overall it was decent southern comfort food and the view of sunset outside was nice.. Enjoy!
Shane’s is not bad for a fast food style BBQ. I like it better than Dickey’s as they have some more interesting menu options and their prices are in touch with reality. My only negative about these guys is the consistency. Sometimes steak fries, sometimes crinkle cut. Sometimes wing sauce is spicy, sometimes it’s mild. Sometimes there is way too much sauce, other times its lightly sauced. The staff are great and friendly. And I love somewhere that leaves sauces out for you and doesn’t make you beg for them. Except ranch, you have to beg for that and they will still forget to give it to you.
Food is pretty good, but noticed quality is not the same as years ago. My favorite used to be the chicken salad that offers this slight peppery flavor. But today, it was just blah. But there are some good options on the menu and the sides (potato salad and cole slaw)are delish! Peach cobbler is another family favorite as well.
Food was delicious, half rack of ribs and half chicken. Slaw and okra were good also. Only thing I rather had a choice of dark meat chicken because I don't like chicken breast. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Enjoyed the visit. Shanes has a good sauce and they were on point with the order. Side were great also. Would recommend for a nice BBQ meal. Nice seating outside right in front on small pond. Good atmosphere. Friendly and hard working staff! Keep up the great work
I'm a new NC resident and decided to try Shane's RIb Shack. I did not try the ribs however the roasted wings and pork were amazing! My daughter's tenders were also perfect and tender!! I woukd recommend. The only con was the mac & cheese was not baked like we expected. But yue fried okra was so fresh and perfectly prepared. I will need to go back and try the ribs and cobbler!
