Best fried green tomato biscuit I have ever had it was awesome. They ever go back to Durham North Carolina that's the first place I'm going.
Everything is fresh and hot. Great staff! Go show them some love and let one of their light yeasty donuts melt in your mouth (or a chicken biscuit). You will thank me later.
1st visit but not the last! Holy cow their biscuits are GOOD!! Got the Southern Chicken biscuit with fried chicken (crispy, moist and flavor-FULL all on it's own) with pimento cheese (also very good) and bacon. Pure South in your mouth! 🤤 Order from.kiosk at front & they prepare to order & package everything to go. There are a few tables indoors & outside. This location was very clean but note their fountain drink machine was "out of order" for everything excpet coke and water.
Pricey but good... I had the blueberry biscuit with SEC, the sausage was thin for the price and the biscuit. Went back the next day got the blueberry biscuit with Chicken, egg and cheese. That's was awesome, big peice of chicken 2 people, build a biscuit each and a side of cheesy tots(only 5. Get regular tots you'll get more) was $25 add drinks makes $30 so be prepared if u take kids.

This place is a must! Look no further. I have never wanted chicken strips, cheese grits, and a biscuit so much in my life. And that blueberry biscuit though... 🤦🏾♀️
Not a fan personally if the donuts, but the breakfast sandwiches are a hit as well.
Update: Okay I had the Veggie "Chicken" strips and these were great! Kinda small but pack a fulfilling punch! I came back to say, try the Avocado Toast biscuit.. oh my goodness.. great biscuit!! Grab some napkins though.
Everything was pretty good. I had the Southern Biscuit and the chicken was flavorful. We also ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and they gave us plenty of gravy which was a good thing. The donut was good as well. It's pricey to me but worth it.
Rise is always a pleaser because everyone gets what they want! As a family we are divided between savory biscuits and sweet donuts 🍩! The donuts on the veggie biscuits never disappoint. They have an expanded selection of vegetarian options which is great!
The food is good. However, I think out of the 5 or so times my partner and I have been here over the past year there has been hair, a clothing fluff/fuzz, or undercooked meat in one of our biscuits. The donuts have been fine though. Might still occasionally stop in for one of those, but I think I'm over the hairy/fuzzy biscuits.
This is my favorite rise location mostly due to the fact that there is a large amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is shaded for the majority of the morning and does not catch son till the evening which is not a time when rise is open. I have yet to experience them being out of any of the donuts that I wanted when they're in the biscuits come out for us hot and delicious. I also recommend trying the pig in a blanket special!
Once again the food is good! Very fast service. Needs a little bit more cleaning. Other than that it's a pretty good!
I really enjoyed the classic chicken biscuit. It's huge, and the flavors were on point. The gentleman who helped me was patient with the newbie, and made some great suggestions. Blueberry biscuits may be my new thing.
