Sushi connoisseur here..... love this place. Officially have my own roll without rice called the "Georgia roll"......gotta keep my figure and still eat sushi!!!!!

I can talk in detail about this restaurant because I usually go there every Sunday to eat with my husband. It is a very familiar place with very dedicated attention. The Sushi of the place is exquisite. My husband is Peruvian. I am Venezuelan and we love fusion Sushi, but preserving the Authentic Japanese Flavors and this place fully meets everything.
Went for the 1st time for my wedding anniversary, left with a full stomach and ice cream to go. Red bean and green tea ice cream are soo good. Wide variety of specialty rolls and boy are they good. My waiter was Shane, my 2nd time, who juggled many tables wonderfully! Great atmosphere, great eats, and great service.

I’ve seriously taken way too long to give Hayashi a review. I’ve been going to this restaurant for the past 15 years. The owners are wonderful people. They have a knack for finding staff who bring a strong game for the restaurant’s vibe - which is a small and cozy place to go unwind and enjoy the company of others, with absolutely incredible food. The sushi is always great - I bring friends who have travelled to Japan and they say the sushi rivals top-tier restaurants they visited there. They are very serious about the quality of the fish and the overall craft of sushi. The kitchen offers some real gems as well.. I look forward to continuing to visit Hayashi for as long as I can.
A hidden gem.. one of the best sushi we have had in a long time. My wife is a sushi fanatic, so we have tried almost all the places surrounding Raleigh area.
Hands down this far excess other places. They have variety of the sushi unique to this place. Definitely our go to spot from now on..
Best sushi place I have been to so far. Delicious and attractive. Cozy, nice and clean space as well. Don’t forget to tip the sushi guys. We go there at lunch time and they offer a great lunch deal that is good for two to three people even four for less than 40!
I’ve been going here for 13 years and NEVER had a bad time. The calamari salad)home made dressing) and Punk Rock roll(not on menu) are amazing. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant anywhere. The staff and owners are kind and fun.
The sushi here is remarkably good. Try the Dragon Roll for sure. The sushi chefs are precise and very creative with beautiful presentations. The seafood tastes incredibly fresh. The service is fast and incredibly courteous. It's not a large dining space, but it's definitely worth the wait if you have to wait for a table.
We drove over 35 mins to eat there last night after a friend recommended it. The food was totally worth the drive but the wait for the food was a little over the top. We waited over an hour for the food to come but the restaurant was very nice and did understand the pain of such a long wait so they treated us with free miso soup and house salad. The price and the quality for the sushi was was very very good. Friendly staff. Wish it was a little closer and we could go regularly.
Very kind staff and great food. Everything was interesting. I chose a bento box and the sashimi was super fresh, the salmon, however, was SO dry and I did not like the tempura. The overall experience was pleasant and I would return again.
