The food was pretty good, but we ended up spending over $90 for three people...and that was for just food and water, so if we were to order any drinks, it would have cost a good deal more. The perogie burger, crab perogies, apricot walnut studel with vanilla ice cream were the best things I tried. The spaetzle was good. The rotisserie chicken and sour sauerkraurt were pretty good, but the sauerkraurt had a little strange flavor to it. The mushroom gravy on the chicken was pretty good. The desert (apricot and walnut strudel) was amazing. My husband ordered the schnitzel and I tried one bite. It was okay, but not something I would ever order. He liked it fine, but he grew up in a German family, so he's had better.

Co-worker shared this place with us, and so glad she did. The staff was extremely welcoming, food was excellent and came out at a nice pace to the table. A great date night place or if you are just craving some good German fare.

J Betski’s has found its way into my list of top five Raleigh restaurants. I’m half German on my mother’s side. I grew up with German dishes in rotation for home cooking and like to eat at German/Eastern European restaurants. Several outstanding German/Eastern European restaurants that stand out for me are Mader’s in Milwaukee, Amber Rose in Dayton, an amazing Polish restaurant in Joliet that I hope still exists but I’m embarrassed I don’t remember its name. J Betski’s is on par and above all of these restaurants that represent the best of this cuisine. It’s tucked into the back of a strip mall and the vibe is a little sterile but it’s cute and clean with great staff. Do yourself a favor, eat here. If you’re not familiar with German/Eastern European food, ask questions about the menu. There is food here you will love. The staff know the food, they will help you find what you’ll love. Henry at the bar took great care of us. Everything I had my first time here was amazing. The sausage plate is a collection of house made sausages pickles and extras. All fantastic but the plate includes braised cabbage and the braised cabbage is sublime. A perfect bite. For entrees, my wife got the Jaegerschnitzel, I stole some and the schnitzel mushrooms spaetzle and braised sauerkraut were all delicious. I had the smoked trout, which was also amazing. Finally the strudel… just get the strudel. You’re welcome. Also the butter infused old fashioned is worth a try if you like an old fashioned but it is on the sweet side. I’m looking forward to getting back here soon.

As a Pole, I'm ashamed it took me this long to check this place out. I had the Pierogi Burger and the cabbage wedge and they were elite level flavor and quality. The Burger had an aoili and balsamic and port glazed onions that gave a slightly sweet tangy flavor that made it a beautiful experience. The potato crisps were...crispy and ridiculously fluffy on the inside. The staff were all genuinely friendly and provided a great experience. If I could change anything, I'd like the option to get the beef at different temps since I enjoy rare/med rare. I look forward to trying the more traditional dishes they have here!

Cute little place with a friendly staff and really delicious food. Craft Cocktails were outstanding. Our bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were not that bad either. Only drawback was we were out all day and looking for a really late lunch early dinner. They open at 4 but the kitchen won't serve until 5. A misleading tactic to get us in early. Not intentional but I think they should advertise dinner does not start until 5. They are good at noticing the small details. This just needs a revisit. We'll be back.

Absolutely delicious. We had 2 kinds of pierogis, the brats/kielbasa, and the snitzel. It was all really good. The peonies came out luke warm, that's why it is just 4 stars. The service was fantastic, the beer selection great. Highly recommend 👌

I really enjoyed J. Betski's! We got the smoked trout and the Jaegerschnitzels and they were both delicious. I absolutely loved the trout, the skin was so crispy and it was also so tender! The lobster pierogies are also really good. I'm excited to come back here when I'm wanting to treat myself!

This place has been added to my list of dinner spots! The food was wonderful - all the perogies and the scallops. The icing on the cake is knowing they sell their food in a take-and-cook fashion. They are really close to a place I visit often for work. I have no excuse for not stopping buy for some to-go perogies or for lunch when I'm in the area for work!

J Betski’s is a modern and charming restaurant (with nice outdoor patio) that serves delicious Polish/German food. The dishes are nicely developed and well seasoned. The traditional Polish/German cuisine is upgraded to a new and contemporary way. For example, they serve pierogies with sweet potatoes and I must say they are super delicious. The Pork Schnitzel is the actual pork breaded cotlet was soft, juicy and crunchy; therefore, was prepared to the perfection. Also, I love their root beer. I strongly recommend dining at J Betski’s to everyone. Enjoy!!
