The hibachi chef was very kind. He noticed that our youngest was a little skittish about the fire at the beginning. Kept the kids engaged the whole time and they even tried several different kinds of food and enjoyed most of it. A very great experience for us and we'll definitely be back.
We love Sakura Steak House! It's our go to place for celebrating with our family. We love getting dinner and "a show" with the sizzling entertainment. The chefs and waitstaff are always professional and fun to be around. Sushi is also freshly made and delicious. The kids LOVE the fire show at the table!
Great sushi! The chefs are always fantastic and service is super quick considering how good the food is. The sushi chefs know what they’re doing and do some great stuff. A place I always come back to again and again!
We have been in Calvert for 8-years but only just got around to visiting Sakura this evening, and we were not disappointed. Our server was a beautifully friendly and competent young lady, our chef was personable... and the food was delicious. The salad was fresh, the soup was awesome and my meal (chicken and shrimp w/fried rice) was fresh and delicious. We will be going back for sure.
Solid restaurant! Typically have good, quick service, regardless of if you are getting hibachi or sushi.
Can be a bit pricey for the hibachi, as you are paying for the show or service, but it is always good and a TON of food.
Got sushi the last time I went and it hit the spot!

Wednesday at noon we were the only people there. Sushi chef was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Reasonably priced for very fresh fish. Crunchy toro roll and playboy roll were our favorites.
Let me start by saying that if this was based on the taste of food I would put 3 stars. This is a very good birthday or little kid experience. Expect a good time, but not excellent service or food. I got the filet mignon and scallops. I loved everything I had except the scallops (over cooked, lacked seasoning) and Filet Mignon (perfectly cooked just no seasoning, tasted like butter). Our chef was excellent and we did enjoy the experience, I just won't come back for a quick and good tasting meal.

Loved it, great service and our chef was good as well and entertained the kids the whole time, prices are ok.
Tried this place out because it was walking distance from hotel. This hibachi style restaurant was nice. Other than hibachi they also have sushi station. Yum yum sauce is good with everything. The cook was great. Service was excellent. Price was average for hibachi.
