BIG THANKS to the Manager & Staff Skrimp Shack-Portsmouth! I am allergic to Fish (All types) but I can eat ShellFish (shrimp/crab) but whenever the family and I go to seafood places to eat I can never eat there because all the food is cooked in the same grease! Well last night I was able to enjoy fried shrimp & fries. The Manager changed the oil just so I was able to enjoy a seafood meal with my family! Again shouting from Richmond Va to Portsmouth Va...THANK YOU! You guys made my evening! Great staff and food!

Once you get past the long line, the food is fantastic. You can either dine in or take out. A very casual atmosphere - nothing fancy. Real crabmeat / no fillers. A little pricey but well worth the wait and money. Grilled is a definite option. �����$$$

We ordered out and everything was amazing! So much food in the seafood bags. Seasoning was delicious! Definitely ordering again!
Skrimp n catfish Po boy was ok.. I thought it could've been a good bit better. Definitely needed to change the oil.
They have good fish and shrimp. Not a lot of salt on products their serving. Great for me with high blood pressure.
Shrimp shack is a small hole in the wall place that serves some or the best seafood. It looked fresh and tastes great. Their prices are very good for the amount of food you receive. This is their fish sandwich that had almost a pound of fish for $6.00
I Love their Food. Everything is cooked too order, fresh, & piping hot. They Employees are Excellent.
By far the best location. A bit pricey but portions are large. Staff is very friendly and service is always great.
Its a little on the pricey side.The haddock is amazing though..
