I have yet to find a really fantastic Chinese place in Portland. Finally tried this place, on recommendation of a couple friends. Ordered a ton of takeout for New Years eve, which included orange chicken, sweet n sour pork, pu-pu platter for 1, and beef/broccoli. Positives: The order was ready very quickly. Most of the food was good; we especially liked the sweet n sour pork and the pu-pu platter. Negatives: Quite expensive, and we were disappointed with lack (and quantity) of sides. Each dish came with white rice - nothing else. Very boring. The orange chicken (which they list as a "specialty" dish) - was not that great. Overall - we found this order and their food to be average. Nothing spectacular. Has to be better Chinese food in Portland!
First time ordering from and I have to say it's amazing the boneless spare ribs are delicious and the dumpling sauce is killer..... i will be ordering again.

Hands down, this is the best Chinese food in the Portland area. It's clean and fresh with friendly staff people. It's a nice dine-in experience that you wouldn't expect given its location. They are promt with takeout orders and pride themselves on customer satisfaction. On one of my last take out trips there, the kitchen messed up my order and the hostess caught their mistake, stormed out back, yelled a little and came back to tell calmly me that it would be a few more minutes. I waited for my order and when I was called up again she had taken care of me by throwing in an extra appetizer on the house. Check them out if you've got a craving for Chinese food and you won't be disappointed!
My boyfriend and I recently moved to Saco and in search for a good Chinese restaurant although Portland is close it is still a little bit of a drive, and it is So worth it. we were both very pleased with the service and food quality. Upon arriving we were a little skeptical from the outside of the building but when we entered our moods changed. the atmosphere is delightful and the customer service is friendly and prompt all in agreeance with the Spectacular food and prices. Please if you get the chance stop by and enjoy the pleasure of a real good Chinese restaurant
In a mostly-empty plaza, it looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but don't be fooled - they offer top-notch food and outstanding service at fair prices. We had veggie fried rice, crab rangoons, Mongolian beef, and broccoli with garlic sauce, and all were delicious. The service was among the most efficient and attentive I've ever experienced. Will definitely be back for more.
Best Takeout Chinese Food. Dining in is also an enjoyable option, but I have tried takeout from many area Chinese restaurants and Panda Garden is the best, time after time.

Was a little disappointed that none of the extensive lunch menu had tofu. I had to buy a dinner meal. But it was the best fried tofu I've ever had. Crispy outside and a fluffy tender inside. Friendly staff.

Takeout is generally all ready and waiting when you arrive to pickup, and still nice and hot ........way to go!!!

I never post reviews but had to go out of my way to give this place 5 stars. We were looking for a convenient bite to eat driving back home with some tired kiddos. Right when we walked in the entire feel of the place was wonderful, serene. It has a really nice energy right when you walk in. Very clean and greeted by beautiful fish tanks and friendly staff. Very fast service and great lunch deals. Wait staff are so kind. Kids came out with a boat load of candy gifts from wait staff that clearly love children.
The food was beyond great, same with the service. I recommend this restaurant 100 percent. The overall vibe was relaxing, and really calm.
Better than China Waste. The food was very savory and pleasing, will be coming back.
