Easily one of the best places in the food heaven of Portland. Amazing ramen and appetizers. A constantly rotating craft beer list that is one of the best in a city known for beer as much as food. Great, friendly staff. Not a large place, so don't be surprised if there's a wait, but it's worth it. Also, they'll text you when your table is ready so you can go next door and have a beer while you wait.
Worth the 2.5 hour drive from Boston love this place!!! the staff is even better then food great job hands down one of if not the best in Portland
Beautiful downtown location in downtown Portland, ME. Wonderful atmosphere and staff. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and took the time.to review our choices as well as make recommendations based on our previous dining experiences.
The pork buns are a must have! If you're a fan of ramen you'll be happy with almost anything on the menu and if you're not sure the staff is more than happy to walk you through the menu.
They also accommodated wanting to taste several drink options prior to making a final decision for the evening. Come in with an empty stomach and try sever small plates as well. Overall wonderful experience 5 out or 5.
Great Japanese Ramen in Portland Maine.
I had the duck special seasonal ramen. Very good but lacked an egg in my opinion. The bao buns deliver and reason for 5 star rating. Karage chicken was fabulous. The flavor was great even though the crunch was a bit non traditional. Great atmosphere, great staff. Don't miss out on this place if you want good Japanese food in Portland.
Never had the lobster bun before in any ramen restaurants I've been to and it's quite the experience and it's very good. The pork bun I also enjoyed. Everything here is so good. My wife decided to get their signature ramen and their don so we can share and they're both very good.
Small place, stellar service and wonderful Asian food. Not very spicy though if you like spicy ramen. Worth going out of your way for if you're craving good quality ramen, especially.
The good: the above. Prices are not cheap but better than expected for a downtown area.
The meh: none.
The bad: none.
Really good tonkatsu ramen..nice chew on the noodles and broth was good.
Crab maki was good.
Lobster bao was a bit overrated...too much truffle oil so you can't taste the lobster but lobster was cooked well.
We tried their ramen, lobster bao, lobster maki. They were all delicious but lobster bao has a bit too much of truffle oil over powering the lobster taste. Our server was very helpful. I t was very positive experience.
Great place with delicious food. Will was out waiter and he was super friendly. The yuzu lemonade is yummy, a little sour but I like that. Nikuman buns are sweet and salty! Highly recommend the paitan as well. The broth is perfect. I recommend you ask for a side of spicy garlic paste to go with your meal.
