Came here despite locals warning that this spot is a tourist trap and boy am I happy I did. Unintentionally, I ordered a vegan donut and it was just perfect. The flavors and bread tasted just as buttery as a real donut. The staff was pretty friendly welcoming. The decorations are all pretty cool too. Definitely worth a stop!
Well now. The staff was awesome...friendly and willing to help patiently. I have to say that each of their donuts are definitely worth 3x a regular donut. I asked if I could take pics and they said, "Sure!" I got the custard filled one and it was great! the dough was fresh and pillowy soft with PLENTY of delicious filling! There are two in Portland. I chose old town. I'm sure either will satisfy that sweet craving. Enjoy! I did!!!
Excellent experience at Voodoo~cute store and excellent customer service. I am not a fan of the voodoo doll but everything was really delicious. Not a crazy sweet but the right amount. Highly recommended this location and will definitely come back again!:)
These donuts are worth the hype! We got a "Viscous Hibiscus" (raised, chocolate glazed, hibiscus flavored), Conversation Heart (chocolate glazed, strawberry filled, raised donut), a Chocolate Coconut Cake donut, and a maple glazed bacon donut. Each was excellent and a perfect specimen of what one would look for in a donut! Loved them!
Looking for the eclectic donut place… well this is it. Although locals often told us this is a tourist trap and further recommended options. We decided to give it a try since there was no line when we passed by one day.
We also tried blue star, which we were told is the antithesis of the voodoo doughnut. Our verdict is to stay in that voodoo line and try the doughnuts. We based this decision on the fact that the maple bacon from voodoo was better than the one from blue star but not the best we’ve had. The best maple bacon donut lives in SF - dynamo donut.
Anyways I would say if the line is short why not give it a go! My favorite donut was oh captain my captain!
The most interesting but good was the hibiscus one! Difficult to describe but unique and good!

Super nice!
Quirky donut spot in downtown Portland. Was in line for around 15 min on a holiday weekend. Loved the aesthetic of this place. They had holiday-themed donuts for Christmas. They also have other merch like clothes and mugs. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
I have to say, the donuts here are good. Not to sweet like Krispy cream. Many varieties to choose from, maybe too many. Doesn’t taste like fried soggy donuts. Many homeless, and the business did their best to keep the customers see the beautiful side of Portland. Go Portland 🙏🙏🙏
Love the selection of donuts and the great energy and vibe this place has! The price point is very nice to your wallet. Who doesn’t love a fun pink donut box! ❤️
