There's one worker and she is badass what a joy to see one worker holding down a shift how often does that happen nowadays her name is SHAY and in the face of great opposition she pushes through and she does this every weekend be very nice to Shane she's a good employee
Everything was good, except this overweight dark skinned Karen with a mohawk was complaining because I didn't order a sandwich and got to go straight to the counter. She got to stuff her giant face with her footlong and guzzle her diet coke so I don't know what her deal was. Nice place though, will come back.
I'm only writing this review bc the girl working by herself the night of 11/27 around 730-8, she was on the phone with what seemed like a manager or owner and had a line of about five people. She communicated with us she was on an important call and I heard her say mention several times she had customers waiting and that she should either get off the phone or close the store to finish the conversation. She was putting the customers first and it seemed like whoever she was on the phone with was not and was very rude. I applaud the young woman for being customer service oriented and getting me taken care of quickly!
Sandwich was great but there should be at least 2 people working together at this location at all times for safety. Management, do better!
My 5 year old is for sure a cheap date... All he ever wants here is a 6 inch olive sando on Italian bread. Literally, that's all he has is the Italian bread and olives nothing else on it whatsoever. But, hey, he loves it and since he's the one eating it and I'm the one paying... Well__ EVERYBODY WINS💸!
Really good subway! I order in their app for pickup and it’s always ready, fresh and fast when picking up at the cash register. Consistent sandwiches and never a problem.
Kind staff and super fast service, literally the only place in Portland I got to visit as train stopped here. Nice.
I ordered Subway online on 8/12/21.I headed into the store to grab it and Luke greeted me,I was AMAZED at his outstanding customer service,I wasn't able to order smashed avocado on my sandwich online,as their was no option to add it. Luke gave me a to go portion of smashed avocado and he knew I was walking so he made sure my food was packed so the bag wouldn't break while I was walking. Luke is a STELLAR young man !!Thank you Luke for making my day brighter:-)
This is one of the better subways I have been to. I just ordered take out, but they actually followed my special instructions to heat up my chicken teriyaki and not just toast it.
Edit: I am changing my review from one star to five stars. I don't know if there has been a change in management, but there has certainly been a change in staff. The food and customer service has improved drastically. The location is no longer 24 hours, which is a shame, but good changes were made.
Original review: I'm getting really tired of this supposed 24hr Subway being closed when I just want some food after a late shift at work. There is never even any note posted explaining why. When they are open, they act angry that a customer walked in. They are spiteful and rude. How dare I specify extra tomato or ask for a toasted sandwich? The lobby is always blocked off all night, so they should really specify 'take-out only' between certain hours. They claim it's closed for cleaning. If that is the case, they shouldn't allow their half-dozen obviously personal friends to hang out in the closed off dining area and proceed to tell paying customers they can't sit.
There is one young lady who is quite pleasant and welcoming, but unfortunately she rarely works the late hours that I try to eat there.
