Amazing Bosnian type food owned by a friendly and welcoming family. Just tried the ćevapi and they were great! This place has a little grocery section specialized in Bosnian goodies. Highly recommend this brand new establishment.
Got this delivered to us, so I don't know what seating is like, but oh man. Their gyros are AHmazing! The lamb is tender and buttery, and they stuff that puppy full.
We also had an order of fries which split between three people, and aren't heavily seasoned. Fluffy inside, beautifully crisp outside.
Will definitely order again!
The food, gyros and cevapi tasted delicious, pleasant and professional staff welcomed us with a smile and pleasant assistance through out the visit. Nice selection of Bosnian goodies. We purchased a few waffle sheets, Tommy mustard and fewer other items and we are definitely coming back for more. Thank you for allowing us to feel home again.
The food tasted great! The employees were extremely kind and helpful in explaining different dishes to us. After we fininshed our meal, they brought us some complimentary desserts to share. It was a nice place, and I strongly recommend trying it.
I LOVE this place!!! I'm not even European and I love the food (Burger(GYRO) Meat With Cheese INSIDE WOW) Everything cook FRESH.
I love the owners, they are very nice and very welcoming. If you want some great food, go and check them out.
Some of the best food and service I've experienced in my time in Portland. The coffee isn't good enough for the $3 they charge, but the gyro still has me speechless. Their food competes with the best of the east coast.
Very delicious Cevapi was so far the best I've had in WA State and Portland. Friendly service and clean place. Thank you and we are definitely looking forward to coming back and trying new things from your amazing menu
I am visiting Portland for a week and my wife is from former Yugoslavia (now Bosnia and Serbia). She wanted to eat some authentic Bosnian food and so we chose Trevnik as it was highly recommend to us. We had Chevapi (small sausages), the Euro Burger, salad, rice and fries.
The food was amazing - especially the meat. We've had a lot of Chevapi in our lives and this was the best I've ever had. They also have a grocery store and bought the kids some Euro Creme (way better than Nutella), Nepolitanke (chocolate wafers) and Pasteta (pate) - all amazing.
The service we received was incredible. I believe a young couple, recently married, started the restaurant. They were so nice and accommodated our kids.
I HIGHLY recommend stopping in and trying some food.
Never had goulash before. Wow, very yummy! We ordered through GrubHub and the food & deserts were great all around. I also discovered a yummy lightly carbonated orange juice soda drink called Orangina that I recommend.
I love Travnik Bosnian grill. The people are friendly and the food is excellent. They have bottled beer and a small drink menu. The Chevapé is a traditional Bosnian sandwich with sausage on a lipena bread which is a round fluffy bread that is made locally. They have a good gyro combo meal. But one really has to check this place out themselves. It is moderately priced and the food is made to order so be patient. You can get a gyro quick though. They also have goulash and chicken kabobs. I highly recommend it they also have a barista here so it is great for coffee and tea as well. Try the Bosnian coffee with a tulumbe which is a lemon syrup cake.
