I was hesitant to try some of the stuff in the charcuterie board. My partner asked about it and the waitress ensured us we would not leave anything on the plate. She was correct. I did not know beef tongue could leave you wanting more. Very friendly staff. It's fun to sit at the counter and watch them make the food. My new favorite restaurant in PDX. Can't wait to go back.
I love love looooove it here. The interior design is to die for, the staff is insanely friendly, and the food and drinks are the best of the best. It's such a wonderful place to be. :)
They've been open since spring of 2018, but I just finally checked out this little wine bar next door to the popular restaurant of the same name. Great selection of both wine and spirits, and since the food comes from next door, what can I say? This place has a great vibe and very attentive staff, who dole out generous pours even during happy hour! Shouldn't have waited so long to drop in here.
Good atmosphere, lively mood. Quick and friendly service. Very clean, modern architecture. Only issue I could possibly have is that the wine cellar they have on display has a large amount of light that could potentially ruin a lot of great wines
Bartender made great recommendations, helped me find the wine that suited my mood. Delicious food that paired nicely with the 'Percoranera' Tenuta Grillo 2004 wine. A modern but comfortable wine bar.
Our dining experience at Enoteca started off really well, but it took a slide. Starters and second course were brought out at the right time/rhythm, and our bartender/host gave appropriate wine recommendations given our menu selections. Unfortunately, the third course took a very long time to come out from the kitchen, the temperatures of each dish didn’t match (one clearly sat on the counter waiting for the other), the polenta beneath the trout was greasy/not complementary of the fish, and apologies from our host resulted in a meager bill comp.
Lesson learned: Come here for pizza or pasta and a starter! You’ll get great flavors, nice service, and you’ll save a lot on your bill. We found our total to be much more expensive than what might be comparable to other restaurants of similar caliber.
Had a great time! Perfect location for a private event! The food was excellent!!! Fantastic service and the bartender was outstanding!
This gets four stars because I only had one drink. I'll revise if applicable if I go back and have food, etc. This place has a fantastic happy hour that either no one is talking about or no one I know is talking about. During happy hour all wine (bottles and glasses) is half off. I don't know any other place in the city that does that. The place is clean, comfy, nicely decorated. The staff that I experienced were great. My cocktail (I skipped wine this time as the selection was too extensive to take in and I was in a hurry) was excellent.
Well, the service was great and my drink. Nice people at the bar. The 22% service fee, I wasn't keen on.
The place is on point. The whole experience was charming, but also delicious! You know food. Often times beyond description. Classy joint. Highly recommend for any special occasion.
