Excellent Tom Yum soup. Full of veggies and your choice of meat or shrimp. Delicious broth and much more "stuff" in the soup than most places give you. Had the Pad See Ew with chicken as well. Great kick and lots of veggies again. Delicious gravy. Hot Pot of Soup and one entree is plenty for two people. Great value for the price and friendly service. Would eat here often if I lived nearby.
Flavorful, friendly, and fast! Our first time in tonight, and the food was quite good. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend.
Very Good. We went here recently with a Groupon. The exterior looked questionable, but the interior was nicely decorated and clean. The food was some of the best Thai that I have had! We had Mango Delight (excellent), Mussamun Curry w/ beef (very soupy but flavor was excellent), Spicy Eggplant (maybe a bit too much garlic but excellent), and Pad See-Ew (good flavor but not many noodles). The presentations on all of the dishes was very nice -- colorful and attractive! Service was very friendly and fairly prompt. The prices may have been a little on the high side (compared to similar size, caliber, location, and serving size Thai restaurants) without the groupon but probably is worth it.
Might Fine. They make a mighty fine Thai Iced Tea and Sweet Basil w/ Pork.
We ordered 7 dishes and every one was fresh, perfectly cooked, and well-spiced. Two of us just visited Thailand, and were impressed with the flavors here.
I love where I work! Right across the street from this place and two of my other favorite Hawthorne spots. Rates Dankity Dank Dank. One of the best Cashew chicken dishes ever.... Do be prepared for some spice! Oh yeah!
Best food in years. My wife and I stumbled on Thai Dish one evening when Por Que No, diagonally across the street, was closed. The exterior does not do much to attract passersby, but the food truly was among the very best we've had anywhere, anytime. We ordered a Garden Roll (hmm, the right name?) as an appetizer which was good if not spectacular, and Pad Thai and Mango Chicken (a Special) for the main courses, with Brown Rice (which, we were delighted to see that they offer). It was hard not to overeat. It was simply wonderful.
We've been to many Thai Restaurants in Portland, indeed all around the country, and Pad Thai is our favorite of them all. Three months old now, they have not managed to find there way onto Google Maps, which hopefully they'll remedy soon as we very much hope this treasure of a restaurant can manage to catch on with folks and do well in a competitive market in bad economic times.
My son and I have gone here several times. Every time we go we are amazed at the great Thai food and unsurpassed service. This is not only my favorite Thai restaurant but one of my favorite restaurants all together. I would highly recommend Thai Dish!
This place is awesome! I'm so picky about the quality of chicken/meat that restaurants use. Thai Dish uses a great, lean quality chicken. I ordered the yellow curry and it was wonderful. My friend ordered the pad thai and that was just as great. The atmosphere is good and the people that work there are very sweet. I love this place and HIGHLY recommend it!!!
The best service I've had in a long time. Hands down some delicious and flavorful Thai food, to where I'll make the 40 minute drive again. They definitely take pride in what they serve to their customers.
An excellent variety of Thai dishes, made with the freshest of quality ingredients and perfectly seasoned! Portions are generous and priced right with many vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options, as well as several meat and seafood options.
The owners are kind and welcoming, and the space is cheerfully decorated and comfortable. I can't believe how many times I've driven past this pink colored building and not realize that it was a wonderful Thai restaurant. You only signage is a very small sign high up on the building. I do recommend better signage because I fear too many people have made the mistake that I did and miss this great restaurant. I will be back soon! One note is that hotness levels seem to run more to the American than the Thai palate, so order spice level accordingly or ask the person serving you.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love ordering from here, best place to get curry in Portland. I unfortunately haven't been able to get my usual Pumpkin curry in awhile due to being pregnant, but you better believe im having it as soon as the baby is out! 🐢❤️
Fantastic food. We had lunch after shopping for a wedding dress. Best Pad Thai all of us have ever had. Quick service. Will definitely go again
Great Thai food worth trying. Can tailor spiciness to your own tastes.
This place is so underrated. I'm sad it isn't more busy. This place serves the classics well. The food is fresh and just great. To me Portland's comfort food is classic somewhat Americanized Thai and to me this place is a perfect example of this. It is never busy which is sad to me. It's a great place and the price is right. They also offer gluten free according to the menu. Portions are big. My husband and I split one dinner portion and while we weren't stuffed it was perfect for a lighter lunch.
Our go-to spot(weekly) for the Jiffy Lube crew, always fresh, fast and friendly. Laab salad is fire, Thai yakisoba (with chicken, pork or beef) and orange chicken are filling and dang tasty!
The food was delicious. Fresh ingredients; skillfully prepared. The atmosphere was problematic for me. I am super sensitive to mold. This is an old building in a city where most older buildings have water damage and thus mold growth. Unless you know you have sensitivity to molds, it's unlikely you would notice it here. There's no smell or visual evidence of mold. And the food is good! We were pleased with our pad Thai, pad kee mao, and vegetable stir fry.
So delicious. In a city where Thai food is highly competitive, this place definitely made me take note. Ordered chicken basil and pad kee mao.
Everything exceeded my expectations. Food was fresh. Taste was on point and full. Pretty authentic compared to the food I've had in Thailand. Noodles were the best IMO. Bouncy, slightly al dente, yet soft. Rustic chopped (not perfectly symmetrical like prepacked).
Not to mention, it came out minutes after we ordered. Our seats weren't even warm yet. 😅 Bookmarked and 100% returning.
