Laughing Planet is a great spot to go if you want to eat a meal that is healthy. The food isn't amazing, but I go for the Cuban bowl when I am craving plantains. This particular location is large and feels like a big empty space when you are there. The service is good and the restaurant is always clean.
Burritos are said to be the best. But I got a salad that was much like a burrito. and it was tasty! salsa and sour cream sides. The salsa was super delicious spicy yum yum
Great food at any location!. I've never had a bad meal from Laughing Planet! Their burritos are amazing and huge! One is almost enough for two meals, unless you're starving. :) Their vegan chili is touted as 'famous' on the menu and by several of my veg friends. It's okay, lots of veggies and some ground beef type non-meat stuff. Very mild also, not for someone who likes a spicy chili, veg or otherwise. Great place to eat in, on the patio, or take your food to go. I've eaten at 3 of their locations and the food has always been great!
The food was good and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable and there is plenty of space between tables. The staff was courteous and friendly.
The flavor was quite good on the Thai bowl. It was not too spicy. I think the portions could be a little larger on the bowl dishes but that’s a minor quibble.
If you want to eat at a restaurant with healthy choices, fast service and reasonable prices, then make sure to pay the Laughing Planet on SE Woodstock a visit.
Great food that fills you up and makes you feel good. Super, super appreciate them supporting Portland Association of Teachers! Your kindness will have us coming back again after the strike.
I recently visited the Belmont Laughing Planet, and thought it was reasonably tasty. That experience opened me up to trying the local Woodstock location. The food was fine. My husband thought his pozole portion was small.
Soooo good! My second visit while in town and checked out a different location. Just had to come back. I had the Comfort Bowl and removed the dairy along with a Mango Peach Lemon smoothy. Was so good I didn't even get a picture before I dug in!
Good food, clean and lots of seating. Service was great too. I spilled my dressing and they got me a new one.
We came here wanting some healthy grub. We got the Korean bowl and the Bollywood bowl. Korean bowl had a good kick to it and was very saucy, almost too saucy. My bollywood bowl missed the mark. The sauce was great, but there wasn't enough on it in my opinion to make up for the fact that the veggies that come with it aren't seasoned at all. And the curry chickpeas that came with it were rock hard, basically inedible. If the chickpeas hadn't been over cooked and there was a little more sauce, I probably would have loved it.
Such a wonderful staff and delicious food! The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is one of the best vegan goodies I've ever had. I love the fact that you can order your burrito "naked" (without foil) and straws are not included by default. Environmentally conscious, honest food at a reasonable price. Try the PB&J smoothie!
The food was delicious and the prices were fair for the amount. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff was very friendly!
Witnessed the previously mentioned interaction in the store… staff were rockstars, very polite and handling a rude dasher/customer interaction during a busy time very well. I hope you guys don’t let those people ruin your day! Food was great as well
Great food, always consistent and affordable. I heavily miss their Che Guevara burrito, it had sweet potatoes, plantains, and amazing sauce, so good. Their salsas are top notch. What they call their Bubba burrito is my current fav. Apparently I love a burrito with a catchy name. Lol. Also they have MANY vegetarian options, (and likely many vegan options too) as well as delicious meat.
