5 stars is not enough for this pub. I’ve been to Europe and the UK several times and this is as authentic as it gets. Amazing selection of beers and the food is beyond delicious. I absolutely love the vibe here and I’m thrilled this is my regular neighborhood bar!!!
Proper grub at this spot. Great food that feels very authentic. I would recommend the bangers and mash or the shepherds pie.
Grab a pint while you’re there! I like their blood orange cider.
As for atmosphere this place feels like a classic pub in every way. Come on down for a traditional pub experience without the tourist price.
The service has been quick and kind. No complaints here!

Food was tasty. Cider was good. Nice atmosphere. Bathroom was clean.
Staff was friendly and decently organized.
My spouse and I had digestive issues after. I don't lower ratings for me having problems (all kinds of things bother me fairly often) but my spouse has a cast iron constitution... And this was our only "out" meal this weekend. So 4* vs 5*.
Nice neighborhood bar with tasty food and extensive beer selection. Great service and good vibes. Huge patio at the rear. Love it!
We went in late as a group of four from out of town. The atmosphere was awesome from the start. Live string music in the corner, everyone in the place seemed happy and there were plenty of options in both drink and food. I had a Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout and Bangers and mash. This spot was a great choice for us. And our waitress was super nice as well.
Old friends popping in for a brief visit. Same great place, good wine ($10 house red in small glass, but tasty, thankfully). Service was nearly non-existent and then the bill was tossed on table in passing. Not busy, not closing, she was just not up to dealing with customers, I guess, or having a bad night. My friend & I had a fun chat. Always enjoy this place.
British pub food is a unique genre of culinary taste. But the atmosphere is great, especially if you catch the live musicians. Very Irish, and quite immersive even from afar if you're into darts, etc. Patio is great on a mild day, and taps are well stocked with crowd pleasing liquids. Best on cold days when you want a dim lit primordial cave situation elevated with woodwork.
All I ever want to do in life is find food stuffed into pastries and this place didn’t disappoint. We had the Curry Puffs and the Chicken Pot Pie, which were amazing!!! Definitely going back to try more things. Great pub environment.
Service was amazing even in the busiest night, they were kind and lovely.
Food was 10/10, all the british classsics that were fully approved as “authentic” by my British immigrant in-laws and partner.
Some of our faves: bangers and mash, curry chips, pot pie, fish and chips, bread pudding dessert and sausage rolls.
Had a great beer selection with some Oregon classics like pfriem
There are darts and an outside patio that allows dogs!!
This place was more impressive than I had expected. From the outside the building looks a bit small but it’s not a small English pub. There’s plenty of room to sit indoors with an area to play games.
Outdoor seating is available and it was perfect for our group especially since we had smokers. This place is also pet friendly.🐾 The food was delicious and their variety of brews was extensive. Way more options than other pubs I’ve been to.🍺 I personally found their prices to be very affordable for a great night out with friends!!
Also, their staff was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent service.I highly recommend a visit if you’re in Portland. Thank you Moon and Sixpence!!
Just FYI… Indoor seating will require proof of vaccination and masks were worn by all staff.😷
