We used Sweetpea for our wedding cupcakes recently & could not be happier! As my husband & I are vegan, we wanted an all vegan menu & were thrilled when we found Sweetpea. Their cupcakes not only looked beautiful, but they tasted amazing! Most of our friends & family are not vegan, so introducing our guests to how delicious vegan food can be was an exciting challenge for us. Not only did we have guests going back for seconds & thirds, but even now, 3 weeks later, we still have friends asking where they can find the cupcakes because they are craving them! Jenny at Sweetpea was so easy to work with to coordinate our order & we would highly recommend them for anyone looking to order baked goods for their event. We're excited to go back to Sweetpea for many more treats in the future!
We we’re visiting Portland and HAD to try Seeetpea. My home town does not have many vegan options. So after finding Sweetpea online it was a must! The biscuits and gravy with tempeh bacon was so delicious!! We also tried to quiche, also great! Very glad we stopped, we will be back!
I was in Portland for four days and came here twice during my stay - it was that good!
The food is absolutely delicious and the ambiance of the space is inviting and calm. The folks who work here are very knowledgeable and excited about what they do and I highly recommend checking this place out for their sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee drinks.
Side note: bagel to cream cheese ratio is very important to me and Sweetpea absolutely nailed it :)
This was my second time placing a custom order and it was a hit! Very easy ordering process and reasonably priced. Everyone commented on how good the cupcakes were and surprised to find they were vegan! I ordered vanilla with raspberry frosting, chocolate with coconut frosting, and red velvet with chocolate frosting. :)
Sweet Pea is my go-to spot for for whatever kind of day I’m having.
Good day? I’ll celebrate with a lavender cookie!
Bad day? Time to comfort myself with giant cinnamon bun!
Long day? And iced rose latte latte will wake me up!
Forgot my lunch? No worries, I’ll just get a tempeh BLT!
Just a normal, average day? I should still probably head over and see what their specials are today!
The food/drinks are always on point,the space is open and airy, and the staff are so lovely. Every day is a good day to go to Sweet Pea!
We had a matcha macadamia ring, a croissant stuffed with scallion bacon cream cheese, and soy lattes. The matcha ring was the highlight, and the lattes were very good. The croissant was good too, although it was more of the soft kind rather than crispy/flaky (maybe because it had cream cheese inside). The shop inside was cute, and they allowed our dog inside in his stroller.
This place is great. Lots of vegan options. We got the tofu scramble and waffle. The tofu tasted awesome. I got a chicken Cesar but that only ok. Didn't come pre mixed and I didn't get enough dressing. Overall I would go back. I didn't try the desserts but they looked great
We had the Cinnamon roll, Tofu scramble croissant, and the Marion Berry Danish. All three were amazing! Lattes were also superb! Highly recommend!
Sheesh where do I begin, vegan excellence unsurpassed quality coffee and pastries! 10/10 recommended to vegan and omni eaters. Ginormous cinnamon rolls and if you fancy a danish the Marion berry one was phenomenal, delicate, sweet and loaded with berries! Full chefs kiss! PDX is blessed to have Sweetpea! Clean inside and polite impeccable service!
Awesome restaurant in Portland! It's a vegan bakery with an incredible selection. I had a cinnamon roll , tofu scramble and waffle. It was so much food I had to take more than half of it home. But it was so delicious I ate it all later! If your in Portland looking for an awesome breakfast, I highly recommend stopping here!
Quick and easy Vegan pastry and breakfast fare. Often referred to as one of the largest distributors of vegan pastries to the state. So it's nice to go try them fresh from the oven. Go for the almond ring. My wife loves them. There coffee is also incredible, and there homemade breakfast options if you can make it!
Oof..SweetPea is absolute heaven!! I love this place sooo much. EVERYthing is tasty. Period
