We have been coming here for about 12 years and it has been on our date-night rotation.
The food has been top notch and the service equally so.
Most recently my wife had the scallop special and I had the gnocchi. They were both fantastic. I also had the pumpkin soup as a starter and was very happy with it.
The food is spectacular, always get the specials and they are always delicious! The service is amazing, they go above and beyond to always make us feel special.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in all of Portland.
Giorgio is a flavor wizard! By far one of the best Italian restaurants in the Pearl, and a hidden jem of Portland. I've been here several times over many years, and never had a bad dish, and it's always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tasteful treat if you are interested in gourmet Italian meal.
Always a wonderful atmosphere! Owner is always there to greet you! Everyone there is super nice! The food is always amazing!!
Best Italian food I've had in a long time!
Arrived for a late evening dinner. Appetizer was the mushrooms, which were prepared perfectly. My wife, who doesn't like mushrooms, happened to love these. Drinks were super tasty as well. I forgot how much I liked Ameretto Sour. Well done!
We ordered separate dishes, which they were kind enough to offer in half orders...left us room for desert. Both were absolutely fantastic! We were blown away. Wow.
Deserts were equally fantastic. The cannoli was light and tasty. Very impressed.
All the while the service was great. We don't see that a lot in Portland anymore. Bravo!

Went out to eat at Giorgio's last Saturday, and was really impressed. My Lamb Shank was cooked 10 of 10, couldn't have been more tender and the flavor was priceless, the condiments were exceptional as well. The desert was a apple tart with thinly sliced apples a cream cheese and the tart was fantastic, all topped off with a lemon drop liqueur. Expect we will be there often.
Gorgeous inside - reminds me of Little Italy in NYC - hex tile floor and all. The food is spectacular - not your average American "Italian" restaurant. The focus here is on freshness and authenticity - and they make terrific use of the bounty of the Pacific NW. Giorgio himself is there every night, and he is everything you want him to be. Not inexpensive, but very romantic - perfect date night or special occasion spot. Some of the best desserts in town, and always changing. Excellent espresso as well.
Food was delicious. We were the only people in the restaurant so the chef made us a complimentary pizza! While it was quite pricey, I'd say the food was worth it. I will definitely be going back again for a special occasion.
Myself and a friend had dinner here for the first time a few nights ago. The cuisine is amazing! Our meal was full of flavor and incredibly delicious, and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely visit again and again and again.
My experience with Georgio's was incredible! The food is uniquely prepared and tastes delicious. I thought their prices were pretty average. Their menu is filled with great choices. I especially loved their rich chocolate cake topped with Carmel ice cream, and most of all thier service was impeccable! I would highly recommend this restraunt if you are wanting to have a nice quaint flavorful dinner & treated like first class as well.
