Best coffee shop in SW! It's a great place to sit with a coffee and study, to grab a beer on the patio after work, or to have brunch with family and friends. The food and coffee is the best and very reasonably priced, but the awesome staff is the best. The baristas and the owners are incredibly sweet and love getting to know their customers. We love it here.

Wonderful space- both short term tables for quick meals or coffee and bigger tables for community work space. Appreciated art on display and actually ordered a print for first time ever! Good food. Good coffee. Great location.
Great place to work. Great food. Nice atmosphere especially during the weekday when it isn’t too busy.
The place is divided into two separate sections. It is really nice since you can have a nice brunch experience or choose to use it as a work cafe depending on where you are located. I used it more as a work place so my review is more on that. The Curry Chicken Salad (Chicken Waldorf) was good (I think there is better but it was good for what it was) and couldn’t really complain with the side of chips. The ambiance was nice and would highly recommend here to come work or grab some brunch.
We were looking for a good place for coffee and food one morning last week. We found JoLa Cafe and decided to give it a try. Wow… we were quite pleased. Great cappuccinos, avocado toast, and a breakfast bowl. We will be back.
Really good food. Had the Hood River Benedict, and the pulled pork was excellent with the nicely soft egg and thick gravy. The potatoes were a nice surprise with added flaky salt.
Was surprised that the barista made a good macchiato and cortado.
The large space is nicely broken up into three seating sections plus a small bar and outdoor seating, so it feels like a smaller restaurant.
The only downside is the lack of parking, so ride share if you can.
The food is incredible but their hospitality when you question the portion is beyond my expectations. They remade my amazing brunch bowl and gave us a coffee card for next time for the wait. Seems like today they are dealing with 2 coffee grinders down during a busy Saturday brunch time. Thank you to this small business for keeping their head up during a hard day and also keeping customers happy. The food here is insane yummy 🤤

Very tasty place for both breakfast and lunch. Recommend the pour over coffee and lox on toast, but pulled pork sandwich if you are in the mood for something a bit bigger. Friendly staff and welcoming indoor and outdoor seating.
Wow! I can’t wait to come back here on my next trip up to Portland! That was the best blta I have ever had! Amazing coffee and incredible service! It was busy when I got here so there was a small wait for my food but I got my coffee within minutes so this was fine and geez was the food worth the wait! Can’t wait to bring my fiancé here on my next visit!

Came for breakfast and coffee. Lovely space and lots of room to sit and be comfortable. Smells amazing in here with freshly baked croissants!! Coffee/lattes were delish and everything came out fast. Staff were lovely too.
im conflicted about this place. the service was fantastic! barista came to check on me when she saw me waiting for a while, which was nice. i wasnt in a rush, but the breakfast burrito i ordered was taking some time. and i wasnt 100% sure what the handoff process was going to be (it was a bit vague...i asked for a to go order).
anyway, when the food finally arrived, it was very far from what i ordered (which i didnt discover until i got home). i ordered the belmont burrito and asked for sausage instead of avocado. what i received had just eggs, potatoes and sausage, maybe cheddar/jack cheese. no arugula, no chevre, no red peppers, no black beans. and although it wasnt bad tasting, i was pretty disappointed to not get what i was actually expecting.
Very nice atmosphere to hang out with friends and linger over a cup of good coffee. When I stopped in, the wait was pretty long as I think that (like many places lately), they were short staffed. Despite the pressure, the gentleman ringing up my coffee was friendly. I haven't tried the food yet, but might next time!
