We went on a rainy Saturday not too long after opening. There were plenty of seats but it definitely filled up as we ate over the course of the next hour. Food came out incredibly quickly, but we lingered over the excellent shareables and a well curated tap list. I'm already looking forward to going back to try more dishes! I've been meaning to come here for years, but always ended up at the cart instead. I'm excited to know that the delicious jiang bing will also be available here at the brick and mortar eventually. I'm going to have to come back with a bigger group so that I can eat a little bit of everything!

The noodles had a perfect balance of soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, chili, and scallions. The vegan dumplings with shiitake mushroom and impossible meat were the star for me. Easy to add eggs or tofu to menu items so there are protein options for vegetarians and vegans.

It’s pretty good. I’d give it 4.5. It’s a tad too oily and salty to my liking. Nothing really bad about it, and the waitress was nice. It’s just a bit different and I honestly can’t describe it. So I still left a 5 star review. I guess it’s more of a personal thing or maybe regional thing to my part of Asian culture??? (if that makes sense)

The atmosphere is small and quaint. It is a small kitchen with a small staff so if you go don’t go when you are in a rush. we walked in right when they opened so we got lucky but within minutes of ordering the line was out the door. They are very straightforward about the wait which was good. Now the food was amazing the chili oil wontons were amazing and the sauce is like heaven in a cup. everything was so good and i would definitely come back here to try some of the other menu items. the pork shrimp chive dumplings were clearly hand made and fresh so those were amazing.

4/4.5. If you're between the brick and mortar shop and Bing Mi the food cart - go to the food cart! They're both good and flavorful, but the Jian Bing is better than the noodles and dumplings. We ordered pork steamed dumplings, sesame dressing salad, and zha jiang mian. Very tasty, but portions are on the smaller side. I thought the noodles were slightly undercooked. I'd still come back for another try.

Delicious! The food tasted handmade, as if your family made it. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

An authentic Northeastern Chinese noodle bar in the charming old industrial corner of NW Portland especially for a stroll out around town. They have diverse options of cold noodle (Liang mian) after a nice hike at Forest Park, or a hot Zha Jiang Mian on a cozy autumn day and appetizers to share while you sip on a cold beer or hot tea. There's something for everyone in this cozy place.

Bing Mi delivered an unforgettable experience! Ordered the You po mian and chili oil wontons which were delectable and the longberry cider beer was refreshingly unique. Service was swift, ensuring a hot meal in no time. Definitely a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

Went as a group of 6 and 2 of us weren’t very happy with what we got. The 3 who got the Roasted Pork Belly Bowl all said it was delicious. I got the cold noodles and it was ok. Very basic though, I would have preferred if it had more on it? Veggies, protein? It was really just noodles. My husband got the noodles with duck broth and wasn’t happy. He said the broth was bland and there were only 2 little pieces of meat. We also got the beef dumplings to share and were quite disappointed with the ratio of the filling to the wrapper. It could definitely use more filling.

We stumbled upon Bing Mi, and the atmosphere of a cute little noodle bar totally grabbed our attention! Immediately we were so so welcomed in by Jackie (the owner we soon were introduced to). I would see dumplings be freshly folded in the back by other family members as we gulped down such authentic and delicious cong you mian. Highly recommend! I love their mission and commitment to authenticity (where americanizing cuisines from other restaurants may have been an easy way out). Thank you, Jackie and family! Kenny
