Amazing value for breakfast! Went to the take away side of the restaurant and had the breakfast bowl and tater tots. One thing I love about Portland is how serious they are about their tater tot quality. While in Portland, all the tater tots I've had were fresh and crispy, none have deviated from this quality standard. The breakfast bowl was also delicious and very generous in the bacon. Had a great breakfast here and will be back if I fly in at breakfast.
I like to get to the airport early enough that I can relax and not rush thru any lines.
I had a nice relaxing breakfast at Beaches. Definely had the beach vibes going on.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict. It was pretty good. (I personally like a eggs Benedict on a English Muffin or Austrialian toaster biscuit)
The biscuit was well made and tasted fresh. Egg was medium; maybe slightly softer would have added some additional liquid to the biscuit. Potatoes were fried like French fries, my preference would be cooked on the griddle.
Service was very good and the big windows had a nice view of the airport.
The bar looked well stocked for those inclined to imbibe before flights.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.
The atmosphere is fun & whimsical. The food is beyond good. (We got the cucumber salad & a keto burger. I had one bite of the salad & wanted to have a take-home container for more ) The staff is friendly & answers questions you may have with a smile. They always have an amazing car showcased! The service was realy fast. The food tasty and the beer excellent. I dont take a picture from my dishes because I was hungry and the salmon looks like came from the paradise.
Dined here leisurely while waiting for my flight. Awesome,friendly service and really exotically cut beachy atmosphere. The food was delicious. They do not rush you out to clear a table. It's before going through security on main floor. Definitely will come back here next time at PDX. My burger looks burnt in this picture!!! Lol, It wasn't, I don't know why the camera hue or something?!?
The only reataurant/ bar Before you pass security . Mac and cheese with chicken was decent . You could do without the chicken add in for 3$.
The patty melt though is Delicious ! Highly recommend .
Friend staff and accommodating after they sent out the wrong order .
Our server was SUPER friend and prompt and the restaurant is way neat looking. We sat at the fire pit table which was pleasantly warm and comfortable first thing in the morning, the bacon sampler was good, not to much fat mixed in and the biscuits we're great and fresh. Their version of honey butter isn't my favorite but did not make the trip unenjoyable. Great little spot. Price also we're not outrageous.
Beaches is a restaurant located "outside" of security at Portland airport as part of the airport mall. As an airport location, the food quality was surprisingly decent but definitely on the salty side of "comfort food". An odd mix of southern and coastal food choices dominate the menu.
Service can be a little slow at peak times but generally you can count on being in and out in 35 to 45 minutes for a single Traveller.
My food came hot and as advertised. And that's the key, if your expectations are "I want a decent meal at the airport" Beaches will deliver. Just plan for a little schedule flexibility if there's a rush.
Stopped in on our way thru the airport. Neat atmosphere, wonderful smells, and the food was all very good! BBQ sandwich, burger, and chicken nachos are all recommended a long with tots or fries. Prices are reasonable and the staff are all very friendly!
Excellent service with a great view! This place makes for a nice stop, whether you are on your way or staying for a bit!
