I took my girlfriend here for her birthday the other night. It was great! We placed a reservation for a big group - 15 of us. Service was great for such a large group. The jalapeno mojito was one of the best drinks I've ever had. We had calamari, orange chicken and the chicken club. So so good. Highly recommend the orange chicken. Henry's has a great atmosphere and plenty of great food to choose from. We will definitely be going back for more.
GINORMOUS beer selection, scrumptious food, fun atmosphere.
I always get nervous when I see a menu that has food selections from sushi to burgers to tacos. Usually... that means that they have a whole bunch of food that is "okay." This was not the case at Henry's. Great food all around. Try the Gorgonzola waffle fries.
Cheese curds and a Mac N Cheese burger! First order of business when I got to Portland was to grab some good food. So we just googled near the hotel and landed on this place. Loved the interior, casual but not too fancy and not too bar like. Burger was perfect and everything was well seasoned. Even the macaroni and cheese on the burger was seasoned but the flavors together weren’t too much. Tasty!
Amazing ambience and classy setting, with indoor and patio seating. Needless to mention, the beer selection is amazing and you can get some many hard-to-find lagers and pilsners. I had a blackberry cider and it was absolutely delish. The servers are very friendly.
Great tavern vibe and feel. They have over 100 craft and domestic beers on tap, so there's something for everyone. Food menu is decent with plenty of options. Atmosphere in the bar is perfect for sporting events unless you are with minors which, due to state law will not allow you in or allow you to be eligible for happy hour. Only downside, is no TVs in the dining room for sporting events, which is not typically a bad thing, just not kid friendly on gameday. All and all I would recommend any day other than gameday.
Great food, atmosphere was relaxed and upbeat all at the same time. While sitting near the bar area I was able to enjoy a conversation with friends and while outside on the patio seating area I was able do the same, only difference was the music was a little louder. The Host, Servers and Managers all were very attentive to the restaurant and you could really tell. Give it a try if you in the area. You won’t be disappointed.
Seems like an unlimited selection of beers. Good food, large variety of offerings. Chloe was an attentive, friendly and informative server. Comfortable atmosphere.
A great place that offers a variety of settings (from pool lounge, to busy bar, to secluded seating) to socialize and relax in, as well as watch sporting events and play pool with your mates. Also located in a happening part of town, Henry’s Tavern can be a stop along your crawl or the spot to spend your entire evening. Due to the spacious, open areas, this tavern can also easily accommodate larger groups. Further, Henry’s offers a wide variety of tasty food and drink that will meet most anyone’s fancy. Do try the gorgonzola waffle fries as they are delicious. However, do also expect to pay a bit more for your beverage or meal. Street or garage parking is nearby. Can be busy on the Thursday nights through the weekend.
Good size place with a separate bar/lounge side. Great selection of beer and other drinks (full bar), and the food was great! We had the pretzel with peanut butter and bacon dip, beer cheese dip and housemade mustard- hard to pick a fav, but that beer cheese was a touch above. Then had the fish and chips- battered in house, great portions and not too greasy, the fries were tasty and the slaw was plentiful and yummy. Will def be back
We went for happy hour! I got the Caesar salad and the crab and avocado sushi rolls. So good!♡ husband got the the chicken tenders. Highly recommend. Food came out fast and the server was always checking in on us. Love the fun music playing too while we ate:)
