I can't rave enough. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Dungeness crab eggs Benedict. It was the best I've ever had. The restaurant was staffed very well with friendly, courteous people. The manager was very visible - he helped bus and set tables, walked the dining room and kitchen and made time to stop and talk to customers. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

Great service on 2/17/2018. Jaysha our server was outstanding!! Plus, the staff ensured the Mimosa did not lack for alcohol.

We were passing through and decided to stop by. Surprisingly great experience! Glad we found this gem on the road! Amazing food, everything was hot, fresh and tasty. Very attentive and friendly service! We sat next to the fireplace. Very cozy family atmosphere. hot chocolate with whipped cream. Cinnamon swirl pancakes (sweet and filling). Steak and eggs with hash browns (steak was surprisingly good! Served with garlic butter). Steak dinner with vegetables and mash potatoes (this steak was a bit more chewy here). First time trying the Dutch pancake, it’s huge! Not too sweet, great flavor. Enough for 2 people to share.

Server was very friendly. Food was pretty standard breakfast, but pricey for what you get. I had 2 over easy eggs, 3 sausage links, a small side of hash brown, a biscuit, a small blueberry pancake, and a coffee. The total was around $26. The pancake was very mediocre and small, and cost $5.50 or $6 I can’t remember. Would go back to get a dependable breakfast, but would rather go to cameo cafe or fuller’s for better food and value.

What a great experience from the quick seating, friendly waitress to the great food. Had the German pancakes, eggs and ham. All tasted great (first time with the German pancakes), everything was hot and seemed fresh. Enough for my wife and I to split.

This is our first time visiting Oregon and we were charmed eating our first meal here. The service was excellent. I had the French Toast and husband had a sandwich and onion rings. The food came quickly and was delicious! The prices were a bit more than we would pay in Florida but thats ok. The restaurant was clean and the decor was cozy. Beautiful baskets of flowers outdoors.

This place is a very traditional breakfast place in Portland. They have the beautiful German Pancake which is very tasty and looks good on Instagram. Definitely come back!

We were visiting from out of town and tried Elmer's. I really wish I could recall the name of our server because she had the kitchen remake my German pancake 3 times because they weren't happy with how they were coming out. I never made one complaint they just felt they weren't to their standards. I really appreciate the attention to detail and desire to serve their best efforts not just get the food in and out. Everything was tasty, will definitely come back when we're in the area again.

Ordered - triple berry german pancake with side of poached eggs and chicken sausage - their chicken sausage is amazing. Also tried Avocado Benedict and the taste was very flavorful. Absolutely great food - service is delayed though

Crazy busy on New Years Day, but our server was friendly and professional and did not rush us first-time customers. Had the enormous German pancake combo with eggs and bacon. I didn't think lemons would go with a pancake at first, but it really did. Sort of reminded me of lemon cakes. It looks enormous but is very thin so you'll have no problem finishing it. My 6'4" 200 lb son had a challenging time finishing his Ranch Breakfast. Good value for the $

It was an unusual experience. The food was excellent & the staff were very friendly, but the service had some glitches. Right in the middle of an otherwise excellent experience, my waitress was both serving me, as well as vacuuming & cleaning the restaurant at the same time. It was off-putting to know that the same person doing the cleaning right in front of me was also handling my food!
