Swinging through Portage. Heard about this excellent tavern with awesome food. Greeted friendly upon entering. Offered seating right away even though busy. Drink orders carne to the table quickly. Menu was fantastic. I had the Philly cheese steak. Wife had classic steak sandwich. Absolutely excellent. Solid portions. Reasonably priced! Owner and chef, Ryan, visited table to check on us. This place rocks! Will definitely be back soon! Thanks for loving up to your name!
EXCELLENT!!! Great job guys!! A Real Wisconsin fish fry without the millennial fluff and prices... Sorry just sick of the big venues that make you feel good with Live music , Over reviewed and overrated food and then call themselves a real Wisconsin fish fry.. We live locally and will definitely be returning!!

The fish dinner would have been so much better had i ate it there. It sat in a togo container getting soggy...i live 3 blocks away so when i got home, opened the box, i was disappointed.....the food tasted great, but soggy from steam in container. 😞😊
Really great dinning atmosphere service was fast and pleasant. Try the bluegill you won't be sorry. My complaints to the chef.
This was by far the best fish fry I’ve had in a long time!! The honey butter was amazing also!! Highly recommend!!
This place was great. Clean, welcoming atmosphere. Only stopped for a drink...so nothing to report on the food. We will have to go back someday.
