Phenomenal fries seasoned by a bartender named Tirrtle. The toasted bun was the perfect touch! Sorry about the half gone meal but it’s a must see it to believe it.
We had a great evening here tonight! The food was superb, the portions were great. After dinner, we hung out to throw some darts and have a few drinks while catching up with friends. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing, the music not too loud, the crowd was smaller and friendly. The bartender/server was phenomenal! She took amazing care of us and did such a wonderful job. She was super friendly and attentive without being too much. Prices were very reasonable for both dinner and drinks.
This is definitely a new favorite hangout for a great relaxing evening. Thank you Long Lake Tavern!
It feels like an old school bar (because it is) but don't get the wrong idea - Lisa, Analyse, and the staff put a lot of care and love into what they do. Despite the old school look, they keep the beer lines and kitchen/bar clean and make good bar food. They also have live music and events from time to time, along with three pool tables. Prices are extremely reasonable, too.
The best BLT in Kalamazoo. The bartender, Analyse is wonderful with a great, bubbly personality.
First-timers... We were looking for somewhere local & off the main drag. We went on a Friday night & a pool league was going on, filling up most of the tables, but there were still a few empty tables so we sat right down. As we expected, it's definitely a bar, but it was fine, even with a couple of teenage boys in tow.
One person was bartending & serving all of the tables, but he did great. They have a pretty standard bar food menu... including the BEST olive burger I've ever had! Thick olive-mayo sauce smothered on BOTH sides of the bun. Yum! (IF you love green olives) The Tavern Burger (burger topped with a slice of cheese, peppercorn sauce & onion rings) was also a hit. The burger buns were incredible! The cook even came out to ask how our meals were. Bonus--it was all very reasonably priced!
We're glad we tried it & will definitely go back.
This place is so cool!! It's very unique and just a laid back atmosphere!! Have never eaten here, but the drinks are cheap and that is good enough for me!!!

This bar is coming back to life new owners new attitude cute waitresses plenty of room for parties &big groups fast&friendly service and they stay open late for 2nd shift workers to quench their thirsting for beer,shots or mixed. Drinks 🍸 good place to take your date!!! Or get one
I met up with my sister at Long Lake Tavern today. The bartender was quick and friendly but not overly friendly which was nice because we wanted to talk to each other. The other patrons in the tavern were pleasant and well mannered. It was a Tuesday around 8 so it wasn't very busy it was kind of a quiet evening. But I can tell by the look of the tavern that they are well equipped and prepared to have a really busy night.
Bob the owner is awesome. Tried to light me on fire with his hot wings but turned out that's exactly the flavor I wanted. Keep up the good work.. friendly atmosphere and service.. nice set up he has there, and seems like everybody is friendly there.
