Absolutely love this place!!! Super friendly service, great food!! They remember our order every time we come in no matter how long it’s been. Very caring people that work here and we highly recommend it. The Italian Beef and the Jimshoe are among the best!!
I have been really hooked on this restaurant the last 2 months. And regret not coming in sooner! I work with over 100 Associates and many of which have had food Street and have always loved their meals. Gyro sandwich and burger have been my favorite go-to's, after speaking with the owner about the Italian beef I most certainly will try that next! That is his favorite dish
I give Food Street a AAA quadruple plus for not only exceptional service and quality fresh food. Let me tell you when I say the Gyro was to perfection the pita bread was like melted butter on the tongue. The meat was so seasoned it had the taste bugs doing a dance and song. The mushrooms was so juicy and plump, I can’t even explain it in words you’re just gonna have to come and try them. When I say Food Street is good, believe you me I would take another road trip from the Chi to Michigan for Food Street. Yes I would. The Proprietor, and the Chef are wonderful souls giving excellent service with a warm greetings and a smiles. Thanks Food Street.

It’s been awhile since I’ve found a restaurant that truly satisfied my cravings. I stumbled upon this gem, as I was in search for something that reminded me of home. I wanted something greasy but good. So I chose the Jim shoe. 😋😋 the protein was chopped to perfection consisting of corned beef, roast beef & gyro. The addition of the mild pepper giardiniera peppers were 🤌🏾. The customer service could have been better as they were not as friendly as I’d hope. The only other thing I’d suggest is providing napkins in the bag for carry out orders. 8.0/10

Went in for a philly and took home a Italian beef with sausage instead. The best I've had in years if not the best ever. Fries were delicious also. Thank you for a new place to get good food

Food is fantastic we are excited to do that all over again . Highly recommending this experience . It was quick and flavorful dinner here and it is worth your while the plus is very reasonably priced . We had our meal in minutes .

This place is underrated. The prices are really reasonable. The owner is very kind and friendly. The food tastes delicious. The decor is simple but feels genuine to the Kalamazoo area. They captured the local diner feel. There are a number of reasons to try this place. Their food is definitely comfort food so make sure you drop in on your cheat day. You wont regret it!
Went today for my first time, and it was amazing. The food was wonderful, very fair priced, and the service was great. The people working were very kind/welcoming. I'll definitely be back.
I had the most delicious double gyro burger ever!! By far every time I’m in portage. I will be stopping here. It was so rich in flavor and even looking at the picture of the burger makes my mouth water and my stomach crave for another one. I’m glad to see that this place is family own! They have great recipes.
Extremely clean, extremely fresh, I think it’s the owner who is in everyday making your food, and they are very friendly. It’s just a great place to go for food when so many other places seem not to care about food safety/cleanliness right now.
