Very atmospheric restaurant with amazing food delicious from start to finish
We found this place when it caught our eye as we drove past and you enter through the front door and then a curtain into a cozy dining area with amazingly friendly people both waitressing and Cleaning the table I had an amazing chicken dish with two sides both delicious - butternut squash and cauliflower purée, freshly baked little rolls, oven roasted mussels - friends had salmon and cod and were equally amazed at the flavor and presentation
Dessert was a pecan bread pudding with ice cream

I really, really love this place! We have been there twice with friends who are regulars there. Both times we attended a wine paring dinner. I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant - the owners, the workers, the food and the wine! I highly recommend it!!

This was our second visit to Wild Honey and it won't be our last. From the flaky bread to the wine list through the appetizers the complimentary Taste of soup and main dishes everything was outstanding. The restaurant is small, and I suspect difficult to get a table during prime-time without a reservation. However, is definitely worth the for thought of calling ahead for a delicious meal in our local neighborhood
Never disappoints. Last night had a Thai Hot Pot with coconut & red curry. Absolutely delicious. Hope it moves from an occasional special to the regular menu. Lots of great fish & whole large shrimp.
Loved the experience. The service was top notch. The vibe was romantic. It's much quieter than some of the local restaurants in town, which we appreciate since it allowed us to have a conversation. The good was amazing. Everything that came out was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back!
I'm really happy with Wild Honey in Port Washington. I've been there three times now and I haven't had anything that I didn't think was very good to excellent. The half price wine bottles on Wednesdays combines with a very nice wine list to make it a really good deal. My group had the Miso Glazed Cod, the Pork Shank, the Filet Mignon, the crab cake and the raw oysters at our last visit and we were extremely pleased with everything.
8/11/18: we had a great wine pairing dinner at Wild Honey, a gem of a little cafe on Main St., Port Washington. Special thanks to Allison for letting us sit at the window table, and Tina, who made our night so special! The food was delicious, our first time there, would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Cozy warm restaurant, where everyone remembers your name. Owner is very entertaining. Food is excellent, especially the Chef's tasting menu with his wine pairings. A must see in Port Washington. Enjoy!

Port Washington is home to more than 40 restaurants. My favorite is Wild Honey. The food is consistently high quality. Lots to rave about. The menu always has a nice varied selection of fish, meat and pasta. I tend to gravitate towards the pork specials when they appear on the menu. Everything is excellent. I tend to go during the week as the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed relative to the crowds that are more likely to form on Friday and Saturday nights. Other restaurants in Port rightfully boast appealing views of the water (ie.Louie's or La Motta's), but the food at Wild Honey is far superior to what has, historically, been offered at these other larger, better-known institutions in town. Wild Honey is a small, intimate restaurant. Go to Wild Honey for the food as Wild Honey is not designed for a bar scene. I also recommend going in the summer months as Wild Honey's dining atmosphere is more appealing to me relative to the loud, hectic summer bar scene at Port Washington's waterfront restaurants. For the best dining experience in town, my choice is Wild Honey
Absolutely delicious food, great drinks, warm atmosphere, a real gem. The owner makes you feel at home and we always want to stay a little longer. So lucky to have this restaurant in our area!!!
Yum. And, if in doubt, get the "Oven Roasted French Cut Chicken with Whipped idaho potatoes, smoked garlic spinach, dark pan sauce". There's a very good reason it has been a staple on the menu for years now. It's delicious!
