This place is good, however, they overcooked our corn tortilla. We ordered their $2.00 tacos. The flavor was really good but the chewy and overcooked tortilla was a bit hard to swallow. I will try again next time but will definitely let them know not to overcook our corn tortilla.
Also, they don’t speak English but if you try to bust out a little bit of Spanish they will appreciate you very much.
I have lived in Dallas for 5 years now and I have never had good/authentic Mexican food. Taco Rico is AMAZING!! The best taco shop ever had here in Dallas. Tacos are a great price and taste soo good. This is for sure a hidden gem. I highly recommend you eat here. Oh and bring cash! It's cash only, thats how you know its good!!
Awesome tacos. I generally like small, not as well-known restaurants for authentic food, but street tacos have been hit or miss for me... until Taco Rico. They are amazing. Just greasy enough without being overwhelming. The chicken and barbacoa were REALLY good. And the green sauce was YUM!
Like others have said, cash only. Make sure to also bring some $1s and a pocket full of change so they don't have to try to make change for you.
Real Mexican food. Not Tex Mex. The cooking is great, the service is friendly. Bring cash. The potato and egg breakfast tacos on flour tortillas are amazing. Tripita dorada and picadillo are my other faves. Hole in the wall 200%
The steak tacos were excellent! Cash only, so I had to stop by the atm on the way, but well worth it.
My absolute favorite Mexican place. I take everyone I know here. Good prices and DELICIOUS food, all freshly made and very authentic. I recommend the flour quesadillas but really everything is delicious. It helps if you know a little Spanish, but some servers know English too. 10/10 recommended, please try this place out!!
