My wife and I were running errands yesterday and one of those errands was getting an oil change. They told us there would be about an hour wait. I asked if there were any good lunch places within walking distance and several of the employees, at the same time, said Scotty P's is great. Well I've been to my share of hamburger restaurants and I already have some local favorites, but I figured "what the heck, I'll give it a try. Well when I walked in I was very impressed with the size and atmosphere. It was obviously set up with families in mind. They even had an area set off the main dining area that would work for groups or team meetings. The counter staff was very helpful. She suggested that I try their Hatch Green Chile Cheeseburger so I did. And my wife always orders her burgers with "special instructions". It didn't even phase the counter girl and the best part is with the follow through of the cooking line, it came out just like my wife ordered it!!! When the burgers and fries came out they were cooked a perfect medium rare, as we had ordered,and the portions, OMG, we had enough for almost another meal!! The food was delicious, the pricing matched the quality and I now have a new local favorite!! Scotty P's Hamburgers!!! Oh and the owner even came by and checked on us as we were eating!!!
My favorite burger restaurant. These burgers are fresh, big, juicy, and their buns are always fresh and kind of crispy on the outside. So good! French fries have a good flavor too. I really love Scotty P's.
Nice burger joint. Quality sized burgers with a big patty. All ingredients were fresh and crispy. Nice and friendly staff. Definitely worth coming to.
We ordered the Chris P. Chicken tenders, onion rings and Greek salad. The chicken tender portions are generous and they are cooked to order. Their onion rings are big and cooked to order. The onion flesh is thick and tender with a crunchy light batter. Their dipping sauces are made from scratch. Jalapeño ranch, regular ranch and blue cheese are all really yummy. The Greek salad is one of the best. The dressing is a delicious Greek oil and vinegar. Their service is as fast as possible when cooked to order, but worth the wait. When they are not busy you can pick up your order in 10-15 minutes. If the are busy you may wait 20-30 minutes. The young people who work their have positive attitudes.
Classic burger and consistently good. Their string onion rings are the best ever. Love this place that is a Plano staple. Don't miss for great burgers.
This has outstanding customer service with even more amazing food! The Irish burger is so filling full of cheese, jalapeños and the meat is so tender and juicy. I love that it comes with a side of ranch with straight cut fries that are very delicious! I have been hearing rave reviews about this place and this definitely did not disappoint me. The burger size is bigger than most traditional places, it has an amazing quality, and it will have you craving seconds. I really love the atmosphere of this place as well, very cozy and wide enough to accompany big or small groups.
My husband got this ridiculous burger that he enjoyed. And we got the loaded cardiac arrest fries- yum! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I got the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and pepper jack cheese and the bottom half of my bun was all soggy. Other than that is was a good experience. We got onion rings as well which were pretty good, very thick and unique batter used on them.
