I like this Popeyes, it’s always busy so the food is fresh and they’ll substitute stuff you want on the menu for other items. They’re reasonable. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The service is fast unless they ran out of something. I swear I always get one more piece over what I ordered. They are fast. I always get food to go.
April 18, 2018: Arrived on a Wednesday morning shortly after opening. I’m not sure how you can be out of your signature advertised item already, but they were. Had my taste buds set on the Wicked Good Deal chicken strips since I saw it on TV for weeks, but they were “out until Friday”. Big time bummer. Settled for the 1/4 pound shrimp and biscuit with a side of red beans and rice. Tables desperately needed a wipe down. There were only two other customers in the store at 10:45am and several of tables were just dirty. Food was still decent and service friendly.
Apr. 2017: Friendly service, yummy food, can't be beat prices. Lots of drink choices from one of those touch-screen multi-brand endless option dispensers.
Faster service would be good and less personal conversations from employees while waiting for the food. Food itself is decent. Great mild fried chicken and fries. Bad coleslaw and ok beans and rice. Good drink options.
Quiet place to get a meal during the holidays, especially when students are away for break. Otherwise I am sure that the establishment would be noisy. The food is good, and there is restroom, but, parking availability is not good.
The service at the Oakland PA Popeye's was absolutely amazing! Best customer service I've ever experienced! I'd like to give a special thanks to Amanda who couldn't have been nicer and helpful! Thank you Amanda!
Very friendly people, they always seem to do their best as they are often doing a lot. They may need to hire more people? I personally think they are unstaffed yet are doing a great job. They really need more employees so a few people aren’t stretched so thin.
The chicken is top notch as expected of a Popeyes. The service is fast, my only complaint is that the building owner clearly doesn't keep up with maintenance, the ceiling tiles are all stained from a lack of roof replacement.

Cajun Fries are bomb asf
Chicken tenders were actually big tenders which was surprising
And biscuits are usually bomb too but I forgot the honey like a dumbo and so they weren’t perfect
But nonetheless bomb food and nice location in Oakland
