Excellent. I have never had a more consistent dining experience. Every time I have dined there, over 30 at the old and new locations combined, I have never had a problem with the preparation, quality, or amount of food. Nor have I had issues with service for lunch or dinner. These fine folks do it right! Kudos to Namaste!

Pleasantly surprised. So yes, hotel restaurants scare me... especially Indian ones. So we took a gamble this Sunday for lunch. It was above my expectations. The place was extremely clean and spacious. The buffet may not be as extensive as others... but they had a good selection. And most important, the food tasted really good! And they asked what type of naan you would like and brought it to your table. Very reasonable lunch buffet price. Highly recommend it.

Favorite indian food in PGH. I love Namaste India, and have been eating here for years. The buffet is very inexpensive and delicious, and the women that works there is always so nice to me. She is constantly asking about my family and how we are all doing. Everyone is very nice and the food is great, I tell all of my friends to go there!

Photo shown is out of date. That's of their old location. The new one is in the space formerly occupied by Billou's formerly occupied by Mararaja, in the Day's Inn. It's a pretty good lunch buffet, and has the advantage over most of the South Hills Indian restaurants of being open on Mondays.

We tried it for the first time and were sceptical at the sight of the buffet. It was small and the food looked unappetizing but we were so glad we decided to stay! We only ate the vegetarian dishes but they were all great, much better than they looked at first. The nan was warm and fresh and the chef frequently offered us fresh items from the kitchen.

Great buffet. The place isn't much to look at, but the food is good. Eggplant masala is the standout.

(they've moved to where Billu's/Maharaja used to be). Good overall quality Indian buffet . the owners are Sikhs . they wear the turban. some people wonder 'wtf' but no worry .
they're very friendly and accomodating people .
perhaps not my favorite location (basement of a sketchy motel)but i'm sure the rent is right for them .
$7.50 buffet every-day . i think i prefer this food to The Mintt which keeps changing up the food/buffet offerings and management .

Good is delicious every time. The spice level can be a bit random I always choose a1. It can be too spicy for me. The bread basket is amazing. I will keep coming back.

Ordered a lamb curry and Raita with some naan. Excellent flavor and felt like I was supporting a local business. I can’t wait to come back!

An impressive experience in Indian-Iranian cuisine, and one I feel I will be coming back to again in the future. A bit of a disclaimer. Things are very mom-and-pop here. If you order online, or through an app, have your order receipt accessible in some way if you go to pick it up. I had my email confirmation, so I was fine. If I didn't, I might have been in a bit of trouble. The most convenient method may be through their Grubhub/UberEats partner of choice. The only other bit of adjustment is the menu. It's Anglicized well, but some googling is required if you're not completely accustomed to the menu. Also if you're looking for what are the most authentic meat choices. Getting around all of that though? The food is excellent, and the portions are huge. I ended up making myself a platter of foods to try. Rogan josh, chicken dopiaza, chana bhatura, and daal makhani. None of which I had tried before, but I came away from absolutely loving all of them. I also had some tandoori from one of them, which I was able to dip in each, and that was a huge gamechanger. I recommend their breads to go with any option. The spice level was impressive. I think the Chana Bhatura came away the spiciest somehow; but it was a tolerable heat. I enjoyed what I had. It also reheated very well, which was awesome. I had enough food to eat for about two days. Fresh meats well cooked, every stew distinct, yet carrying that intrinsic charm. I was pretty blown away. The options here that other places don't cover should invite you to try them out! Make it a regular addition to the stops you make to any of our local Indian-Nepali places.

Summary: AWESOME food, friendly staff, austere venue. Better priced than most Indian restaurants. My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. The staff was super friendly and our Curry and Samosas were fantastic. The naan bread was a little overcooked, but I'm fully confident they would have made us more if I bothered to say anything. It wasn't a big deal though and everything was delicious. There are only three tables inside, and the setting is pretty bare, but they also do take out. Better prices than most Indian restaurants I've been to. I wish the dining area was more dressed up but I couldn't have been happier with the people and the food.

Great Indian Buffet Variety of dishes on the lunch buffet. I've been there many times, never disappointed. A short while back they got all new furniture, so now it looks nice too. News is usually on the TV, which is cool. A friend told me they are Northern Indian style here. Different curry dishes, all are tasty. They don't put naan (flat bread) on the buffet, but they ask you if you want regular or garlic, then they cook it fresh for you! Nice touch. Some dishes have veggies in them, some are fried. There is a small salad bar with rice pudding, pickle (that salty, spicy veggie side), lettuce, tomatoes, etc. All you can eat for under $10. Can't beat it!

This place is the burgh's best kept secret. We have been coming here for over 10 years and I can honestly say, we now drive over 3 hours JUST to eat here, and the owners are such great folks. Ignore the poor reviews. Prices are great, quality and flavor is stellar, and I could go on and on about those two sweeties that make above excellent dishes. Kudos!

Been ordering here for some time. Some dishes hit hard with flavors while others could use some more flavor. Overall really good food.

Was a little nervous about visiting after reading some of the negative reviews but stopped anyway since most of the bad ones are from the Days inn location. I'm so glad I did! It was delicious! Everything was well prepared, service was friendly and prompt. The space is a little spartan but man was the food good!

I was hesitant to order, because of all the negative reviews. My go to Indian restaurant is closed on Monday, so I decide to take the risk and order from Namaste India on Grubhub. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews! The food was great. Hot, spicy, flavorful, bigger portion sizes than expected. I will definitely be ordering again. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Vegetable Samosa, Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious.

Namaste is my favorite Indian buffet in the city. It's always quiet and chill to come here. The staff are all very friendly and try to cater any way they can. The food is delicious, although we usually end up eating a little too much. 😜
