Honestly think this place has the best bar food in the area. It's consistently good and very cheap. Never had anything that I didn't like. Downsides: smoking, no good drinks, no good beers.
Local bar unceremoniously referred to as a dive, it isn't. Great hoagies and wings.

The food is good and it is a nice place
Bartender was very friendly and it was a fun atmosphere. Wings were pretty decent. This bar only serves bottled beer. Draft beer would make me become a regular customer. Maybe some day? .....

This place has the best wings I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve been to the anchor bar. Definitely stop in on a Monday or a Tuesday when they’re 50¢ each. They also occasionally run specials on hot dogs and burgers so be sure to check their calendar when you’re there.
First time going tonight. I’ll be back for sure.
Favorite dive bar in the area. I usually drive about a half hour once a week just to get food and drinks here. Extremely affordable (think VFW prices); I would expect to pay twice as much for the amount of food they give you, as well as the quality. Their wings are the best around! PV also has a great atmosphere with a friendly staff and a fairly relaxed clientele. I've been going for years and I've yet to see a fight, although it does get a little crowded and rowdy on weekends which is to be expected. The two pool tables are a great draw, too. There are plenty of bars in the area, and plenty more closer to where I live, but I still prefer Park Valley above the others for a cold beer and some good food with friends.
