My new go to Chinese take-out!! So far, been here twice, right before closing, and the food was excellent!
The small size Singapore mei fun was a generous size and tasted delicious. Wonton soup wasn’t overly salty like some places make it. The General Tao was crispy and flavorful, but the pork fried rice was my favorite! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend especially with the prices, very reasonable.
My food was absolutely perfect. All the way down to the slightly blistered onion in the pork fried rice. The general Tso’s chicken was spicy and crunchy and tender and sweet - like perfect perfect. The pork fried dumplings equally delicious.
It’s some of the best Chinese take out I’ve had in Pittsburgh and I’m so surprised that I’ve never been here before. I will definitely be back.
I was there last order this evening, which can sometimes at other restaurants lead to the food feeling like it was rushed.
I discovered this place by accident and I am so glad that I did. I've been a bunch of time for pick up orders that I've made through their website. I get basically the same thing g everytime: egg drop soup, shrimp egg foo young, extra crispy noodles. Each time it's been pretty good I've tried a few appetizers but they weren't for me I think that's a preference thing. Food always ready within 20/25 minutes (might be quicker I've not gotten there earlier than the estimated finished time yet and even when I arrive 30 mins after said time the foods still hot.
Showed up for a takeout order at the same time as maybe 5 or 6 other customers, but kudos to the staff for getting all the food out in like 5-10 minutes. No nonsense back in that kitchen.
Portions are good for the price, with the trays packed full and no skimping on the meat. Tso's had some good heat, a bit soggy after the drive home but not much anyone can do about that. The dinner plate is probably one of the best deals around.
I only have one experience with this restaurant, but so far it has been a positive one. Hunan chicken was great, and I asked for extra spicy, which they actually did. That is a rarity at typical Chinese takeout restaurants. I will be giving them a try once again in the future for sure. Keep in mind, it is take out only.
Chowmein is supposed to be fried noodles but here it comes with veggies and rice.
Giving 4 stars because it still is good.
No frills hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot. The food tastes good to me and is very reminiscent of the kind of Chinese food I grew up eating. Their vegetarian options are actually better than their meat, IMO. I tried the chicken last time and did not like it so I'll be sticking with the tofu. Service is friendly, fast, and efficient. Seems to be takeout only but the dine-in atmosphere is pretty lacking.
My boy Ross A goes here 3 times a week. He likes it so much he even had it delivered to the Dukes game tonight via Uber eats. I can’t wait to try the dumplings and General Tso Chicken extra bikey.
This is great value for Chinese takeout. Note that I said value. You can do better quality and ambiance if you spend more. But I'm glad there's a cheap takeout place that's an easy walk for me.
Been going here for years it's a vibe straight to the point not too expensive
