This place is awesome every time I visit. The soup is always hot and very good and the sandwiches are sublime. The cost is for a family of 4 for lunch is around 60 but that’s not out of line for the area. The staff is always a super friendly and brings your food right to you. I find the large selection of food to be wonderful and have never had a bad bite here. The size of the sandwiches are probably average to most people but they are big enough to satisfy. They have an 19.99 sandwich which they challenge you to eat so maybe next time I will try that for that ultimate stuffed feeling. They also have an outdoor sitting area and and a kids menu so everyone in the family can have something really good to eat.

Had a great patrami and cheddar on rye, with homemade matzo ball soup. The deli had a great selection of fresh meats and great cheeses. House made pastrami, corn beef, and brisket! Service could have been friendlier or a little more welcoming... That's the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

From the beginning order/check out. This place gives you the soul and hospitality of Pittsburgh. Questions answered in a friendly and quick fashion. No one judging for not properly knowing the menu. And the feel is just the right kind of atmosphere you want in a deli. Now the food Oh my goodness... I got the potato lahkte Reuben. And I couldn't recommend a better sandwich to anyone. All I can hope is to get another in my palate before I pass from this earth Enjoy it all. And thank whomever brings you here (:

Vast menu on chalkboard behind counters. Service rather quick and efficient with friendly persons to bring food to table and bus tables. Was there early Saturday afternoon and not very busy. There were 6 in our party and food started being brought to table in less than about 8 minutes. Thought quite fast for delivery to table to start. Will come again when in Squirrel Hill!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and sides. They can take a bit to make the food, so we usually use Grubhub to order ahead and then just pick it up in a flash. They have a bunch of different bread options, and the chicken salad is top-notch.

Friendly staff, excellent food. Great for breakfast, their pancakes and omelettes are delicious, as is their corned beef. Their desserts are a bit pricy but if you feel like spoiling yourself I've never been disappointed and they are big enough to share.

Great deli experience. The pastrami rueben was excellent as was the egg, tuna and chicken salad trio on a bed of fresh greens. Would definitely go again next time we are in town!

The deli meats here are totally legit. The reuben, with its delicious beef, toasted bread, and accompanying kraut make a great and extremely filling combination. Their pastrami was great too, which I tried with the rye sandwich. For the latter, I actually got their special Stan-wich, which also came with corned beef in addition to pastrami.

Can't help but to stop everytime I'm in the area. Perhaps one of the best deli style sandwiches in the 'Burgh. You'll not go wrong eating here, or taking out for that matter. However I am often annoyed by their service at times, but the food makes up for that.

If you go there the Reuben is not to be overlooked. Plus they have a breakfast and full dinner menu. One of the best places to eat in Squirrel Hill especially for a reuben and matzo ball soup
