In the top three Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh. Highest quality, most varying menu, attentive staff, best buffet experience. Have never had as bad as an average meal in the dozens of times I've been here.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. Many of the dishes in the lunch buffet rotate week to week allowing repeat patrons to try a great many of their amazing dishes. Always a friendly staff as well. Very happy for them to have expanded to Monroeville and always happy to see the restaurant full and often with a line out the door during buffet hours. They deserve the success!
Quite tasty and delicious food. They serve continental foods. If you are a veggie. This is the best option in Monroeville. All you can eat is one best thing on Saturday noon.
A good Indian restaurant. We had garlic naan & paneer tikka masala & both were delicious. The naan was excellent! Service was good too. Complimentary papad was a good welcome! Overall a good place!!
One of the best restaurants that i tend to visit when in Pittsburgh. Being Indian having a quality Indian food in US always gives a sigh of relief. Buffet have a whole range of veg and non veg items and often we get confused while selecting between a veg and a non veg meal, as taste wise both options are damn good. Nice ambience, good staff members with good food makes it the best choice when accompanied with family or a whole big group.
The Mintt is a must visit place for all Indians or Indian food lovers. The food here is a reminiscence of the taste back home. The spread of dishes is as varied as the Indian culinary tastes. The place is also good for private parties. Staff is also quite responding and prompt. In a nutshell, this place satisfies you and your pocket both.
The food is awesome, the service is good, however, I don't like the location and the setting of the restaurant. During the winter there is poor insulation and sometimes it can be very cold. None the less, I would come here again.
We finally discovered a place that served good North Indian food and kababs and I'd visit this place several times with friends.
In appetizers the chicken tikkas are delicious and melt in the mouth, and the paneer tikkas are pretty good too.
For main course we've tried the mintt special chicken biryani, kadhai chicken, chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, bhindi fry, methi matar malai
In chinese we always got sweet corn soup which is great and we've also tried the veg hakka noodles, gobi manchurian and paneer chilly which are average.
For dessert, the gulab jamun with ice cream is delicious and the egg-less cakes are yummy. Haven't tasted better pineapple pastry or black forest pastry at least in Pittsburgh.
The highlight of this place is definitely the tandoori starters and egg-less cakes.
The best Indian food one can find in Pittsburgh. I've been here for the only once and was satisfied with the buffet. The variety offered was okay but not attractive. The live dosa counter was the best, it tastes real good. The rice items and curries were good enough and the rotis were fresh but were not that soft. The desserts were a bit of disappointment. To be frank overall it good place and worthy.
This place has good dosa as compared to the ones I had in New York. The Chinese food here is good too and the place gives you the feel of a typical south Indian restaurant. :)
We went on Fathers Day. Place was packed. Wait staff attentive and answered questions on what buffet items were gluten free. Enjoyed dosa station and chef bought them tour table. Rasam and idli was very tasty and the chai was great. All this for less then $11. We will be back often.

Amazing Indian Food!. I adore Indian cuisine. Mintt is fabulous. Their food is AMAZING and I have really enjoyed trying different things that they offer (like dosa) that I haven't seen offered at other Indian restaurants. Their chicken tikka masala which is one of my favorites is out of this world good. It doesn't even compare to other places I have tried. It is my favorite Indian restaurant in Pittsburgh, and I plan to come back often!
Amazing Indian food. The butter chicken is out of this world. The owner came over a few times to check on us as well, and was very nice. Definitely worth the price, but I don't love that they will not take coupons right now. Don't advertise yourself in a coupon book if you're not going to honor it.
I have only ordered for delivery, but the food is always fresh, hot, and packaged well. Oh, and DELICIOUS. I’ve ordered butter chicken from other Indian restaurants, but now they all taste like disappointment in comparison. The butter chicken here is SO good. Their garlic naan is also fantastic. I haven’t had anything here I’ve been disappointed with.
Do yourself a favor, eat here.

The taste is authentic Indian food. We ordered baby corn Manchurian that was tangy and good. Chicken 555 was good in flavor. Panner special briyani was mix of Hyderabad and south mixed style and egg hakka noodles was good too. Just ensure you stay with spice level 2-3. I ordered 5 out of 10 still it was spicy. I would recommend to try.
The food here was very good. In my experience, they are spot on with spiciness levels too. I asked for medium and it was perfectly medium. The place is kinda sparse, relying mostly on 2 large TVs. Or maybe they were just too distracting to notice anything remarkable. The service was not great. I went with an Indian friend and they asked him for the information they wanted from me.
This was my first time eating here. The music and atmosphere was very authentic. The Samosas were delicious. My server was very nice and professional. I ordered the Baingan Bharta which was made with eggplant served with a bowl of Basmati rice. Very tasty! The Roti which is an Indian whole wheat flat unleavened bread was my choice of bread. Went well with my meal. I recommend this for anyone who likes authentic Indian cuisine. They do have a lunch buffet as well. I'll definitely come back for that...😀
Ok, the place is nice, it looks clean and the ambience it's really familiar! The service was very nice, but the food was so spicy...well, if you come from South India, you will love this place, but, if you are not use to eat hot and spicy food...this place is definitely NOT for you,...I think they should have a low spice menu for those that love foreign food but can't stand the spicy stuff...hahaha, that's my opinion...but I really love to try new food to know about other cultures! ...the price is affordable and the only thing I really love was the "Indian Mango juice" (I don't know the exact name)..because was sweet and delicious!
How often do you have a meal that you love so much you want to yell about it from the virtual (or IRL) rooftops? I want to tell everyone I know about Mintt. I consider myself pretty well traveled in terms of the Pittsburgh food scene and somehow I've slept on Mintt. We ordered via Doordash on the first cold, rainy Fall evening of the year and it was EXACTLY what I needed. I had the Lamb Vindaloo with Garlic Naan and I could not have been happier. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice and the Medium had me sweating and swearing but it was the kind of spice that is enjoyable. Not just hot to be hot but with so much flavor. The portions are big enough that it can easily be two meals and it held up as leftovers. Anyway - I'm posting this mostly because I just had to tell someone other than my husband but I'll be glad if it helps one person to have the delightful culinary experience I did.

A very good hospitality, good food options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Celebrated my grandmothers birthday here and the staff helped a lot with pictures, setup and pretty much everything. Made her birthday very special. The Waiter who helped us was Ferose
I love Indian food and this place has a lot of great dishes. The chicken biryani was very flavorful and the sauces that come with the samosa chat are great.
