Love this place! Great food any time of day, even better service. If you are looking for breakfast or a late night bite after a night in the south side, Nadine's is a Pittsburgh must!

Ok understand this is an actual BAR. Very few tables. Only 2 regular tables back by the bathrooms and 3 tall tables. So this is NO PLACE to take the FAMILY or expect a nice quite dinner. THE FOOD is really good. There were 4 of us and we ordered a 2 Rubens-my son said it was one of the best he's had. My husband said it was an "awfully good ruben". We also ordered an Italian hero, which the ham was burnt bad on, but they took it back and fixed right away and it was good as well. I got the hot roast beef plate with fries ( you can also get potatoes). Now all this food comes out on paper plates (my paper plates was doubled). It doesn't say it on the menu but this is a sandwich the plate was drowned in gravy (which over fries is great) in my opinion it needed salt & pepper. Once add it took it from a 5-6 rating to 8-9. The only thing I didn't care for was once it was between 2 slices of bread, the bread was also covered in gravy like the fries. With the Reubens potatoe soup was ordered as well. The potato soup was thick like a chowder but it was really good it also needed salt & pepper. I will say that is one of the best potato soups I've had from a restaurant. We all liked it so much we ordered some totaled back to the hotel. All total with drinks it was $120.00. Now I will say the service was lacking, but then again a BAR Not a restaurant. Now on to the WORST thing the Women Bathroom was UTTERLY DISGUSTING. It was so bad that if I had gone in there before we ate, we would have left. No kidding it was GROSS, i wouldgo into but i think it would ruin your apatite. Now they do run specials like the night we were in there was a brisket sandwich, but it was sold out. Just to let you know about the amount of gravy kn my plate. My son had most of his fries left and we put the rest of my gravy over them. I will say these are fairly nice size portions. We left with 5 carry out boxes. Really Good food and good portions for the price. My suggestion if you don't want to eat in a bar, do take-out. But I would CAUTION you to check it before you leave due to the fact the ham was only burnt on 1 side, but burnt none the less, and they still served it to the table. Now if your just in town looking for a cozy low key, relaxed bar, then this is your place.

The food is delicious, nice ambiance, and good prices. Most of the bartenders are very nice, except for the blonde girl who works in the morning. She was INCREDIBLY rude. I came in with a friend. She took my friend’s order, didn’t ask what I wanted, and didn’t speak to or look at me, even when trying to get her attention. She then got an attitude when when I wanted to order and badmouthed me to the cook. She’s awful.

Food not bad at all! Place is small and always crowded, but it's a good place if you want to quickly grab a bite and drink one or 2 beers before going to the club.

We went at a busy time, when lots of people were fueling up for a Pitt football game. I'd recommend this place if you enjoy traditional diner food cooked in plain sight, like the choice of eating at the bar or maybe having a beer, and appreciate a friendly Pittsburgh atmosphere.

I love this place. If I'm working in Southside and I want the best breakfast in the city you best believe that I'm throwing down some flavors at my favorite greasy spoon! Great people, fantastic food and blue collar respect all in one place.

Was here about 13 years ago with my family. Came here shortly after seeing this fine establishment featured on Guy Fieri's Diner's Drive ins and Dives. I have to say that the people who waited on us were very nice. You have great tasty Fried Bologna sandwiches. You have a fantastic business and product. Keep up the great work!
