My pastrami and cheese sandwich was very good. Dessert was also good. Service was great too. Loved everything!!
I had a Turkey and cheese sandwich. It was delicious as usual. Portions are so big, it served as lunch and dinner. I had them put the slaw and fries on the side so it would be easier to reheat later. So, my left overs were just as delicious. We had good service. Food came out quick and our server was on top of things. The restaurant was clean and inviting.
We were nervous at first because the parking lot was packed. Got us in within a few minutes, food came out so quickly, and staff was so helpful! $85 for 5 meals and 2 appetizers! Not bad!
Came in for lunch while on business. Sat at the bar and was taken care of by Michelle, who was great. I got the Pittsburgher and got the Primanti Amber. Food came out quickly. I liked the overall sandwich, but the meat was subpar. It should be called a meatloaf sandwich. Again, It was ok overall, but to call that a burger is a stretch. The beer was really good. I will visit again next time I'm in the area, but will opt for another sandwich.
Minor issue getting waited on. All was taken care of quickly by mgr. Good beer and food. Love their white pizza. My favorite is buy one pizza get one free on Thursdays. Just mention it to your waitress/ waiter. ( The free pizza is the same size as the one you order. Get the large! )
Haven't had primanti bros in such a long time. The food has never disappointed me. Today was nothing less than to be expected however I did have an amazing waiter. His name was Joseph L. Super nice kid, didn't wait long for anything. He was very attentive, very polite, and very helpful. I wish that more wait staff was as nice, and welcoming as this young man made my mother and I feel. So I just want to say thank you to that young man for making my experience a good one.

I do enjoy Permanti's it's a Pittsburgh highlight for those that have never tried it. These restraunts are great. This specific location is fair. It's not like the other original and older locations. It's like an Applebee's or similar family dining with a large bar. You don't get the same atmosphere, service, and food (this may all be psychological as I am sure they use the same ingredients and have the same items). It's just not exactly right. I enjoy it and I continue to go here due to its location. You know what it may be is the lack of personal pride or dedication from staff. They are not bad, but younger than the staff at most of the older locations by about 10 years. They haven't been making and serving the food at this location for decades, and somehow, that just translates. But you come and decide for yourself maybe it's only me. Don't order your fries n the side. Do remember to ask for onions and an egg on most sando's. Don't order it if it doesn't come on bread if it's your first visit (i.e. pittsburgher, pastrami, steak sando's)
I just want to give credit where credit is due. Christie was my server tonight and she was the most amazing woman. She was very friendly, caring and had a great personality! I will be recommending her to any one that goes to this location!
The waitress avoided me and took way too long to refill drinks and pick up the payment. I always always have better service when the server is a male, at all Primanti brothers restaurants. I've been a customer for many years. Been there too many times to count . But I guess I can't request a male server..... or can I. .. lol
It's COLD up north, but the food is amazing! Crazy BIG sandwiches at Primanti Brothers restaurant in Pittsburgh.
First time ever coming in for dinner but we will be back when it's warmer for a Pirates game hopefully soon. Great food and wonderful service.

Love going Tuesdays & Thursdays! I visit the bar for a couple drinks while my girls are at soccer practice. The bartenders are attentive & friendly. Drinks are great & the pizza special is amazing!!!
