Great New Year's Eve dinner. Breille was excellent. The food was delicious.

Dinner was ....meh. I dined here last night on a date. I arrived first so I sat at the bar to the left of where you walk in and ordered a glass of wine. They had a live jazz band which was nice. The room was really dark so unless you were interested in the jazz I'd suggest sitting in the dining room. Once my date arrived we made our way to the dining room. We were greeted quickly and water was immediately brought over. We placed our drink orders while we looked over the menu. Prices are high-this will not be an inexpensive evening out. I ordered the crab cakes with mac and cheese. The crab cakes had a lemony flavor and were served over a "creamy cocktail" sauce. They were tasty but I still prefer Sausalido's crab cakes. The mac and cheese was meh. Something similar to farfalle pasta with a cheese sauce. Butcher and the Rye has superior mac and cheese. My date ordered the scallops with the lobster risotto. He said it was good and it must have been as he cleaned his plate. Now I did not see our bill but I saw the menu prices so I basically know how much it was and if I had to pay for this meal, it would have not been worth it to me. Much better places to eat at in the Strip and Pittsburgh in general that are superior in quality and less expensive. I don't feel the need to return unless to listen to music in the bar area and just have drinks.
Good stuff. I like how there are different phases to the place. First, you hit the bar for a pre-dinner drink. Then you sit down for your meal. I had the antipasto and the pork chop, both were very good. Then, you move to the cigar bar for desert and a cigar.
The wine list is great and the service is very good.
Went to cioppino last night for our friends birthday and we were all very impressed! The service was great along with the assistance with our wine selection. The food was amazing! I recommend the dessert sampler and the rare tuna and shrimp cocktail. There were do many great choices we have to go back and soon to try. Thank you for making our friends birthday so special.
Had a private bday party service could not have better. Food was great. We had kids they new they need food right away. Excellent
Great food. I went there for Vday and it was great. It was my first time there. The food was delicious. The service was top notch. The atmosphere was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better Vday dinner. The trio creme brulee was not only tasty but innovative. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
Good Happy Hour. Took out of town friends for a weekday happy hour and was very pleased. Reasonable wine specials and good happy hour appetizer choices.
The wings and pizza were both done very well and its a fun atmosphere. Will definiely be back.

Liked it, didn't love it. A really nice restaurant on the trendier side of things, without the typical pretentiousness. Enough variety on the menu to make everyone happy, but still pretty simple and straightforward for an awarded/accomplished chef such as Alauzen. I'd have thought the menu or the specials would be a bit more ambitious. That said, the food was good, and the atmosphere and service were very nice. Prices are also fairly reasonable for a restaurant of this scale.
Enjoyable but Pricey. My wife and I went here for dinner, having eaten at Osteria and enjoyed it immensely. At Cioppino the atmosphere was great and our waitress was fantastic with complete knowledge of the menu, offering several suggestions. The food was excellently prepared and delightful. Unfortunately there is a "but" to this review. The portions to the appetizer were good where we had the Beef Carpaccio and the Calamari which were wonderful. But the main course, Scallops was ridiculously small, 4 medium scallops (Desribed as Jumbo on the Menu) at a very high price, $21.00. We enjoyed the flavors but we will not being going back.
Overall good experience. The food was good but didn't knock my socks off so $350 for 4 people was steep to not be able to say it blew my socks off. My husband's steak was knock your socks off though but a $60 plate should. The personal touch for the birthday in our party was super cool. 👌
We went for brunch and it was wonderful. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable and the food and drinks were all amazing.
They have some of the cheapest and best brunch drinks you will find in the South Side.
The food portions were large and well worth the cost. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wife's short rib has tender and delicious

Excellent place and meal! We came here for our anniversary and our server, Mila was top notch. They had custom menus to welcome us and make the night even more special.
They offer valet parking. It was a warm evening and the windows were open; we debated about seating outside.
Great food. We started with the beet salads which were delicious. Perfectly dressed and I wanted to eat it all but with the bread (which came with a lovely dipping oil) I needed to save room.
Probably the only miss was the bread. The rolls were eh. But that’s a good thing so you don’t eat too much.
Dinner wow! We got the crab cakes which came with a really good Mac and cheese; the filet and the New York strip. We also ordered an extra crispy potato. Everything was so tasty.
For dessert it was hard to choose but we landed on the rocky road and the strawberry shortcake. The rocky road looked different when it came out but then one taste and we were all fighting over it. 😂
Our server, Mila was very friendly and helped with suggestions. She helped make the night even better.

Cioppino Restaurant is phenomenally an excellent restaurant that is located in the Strip District, walking distance from the downtown. It was selected by our group because of its exceptionalism in quality and service along with its accommodations for outdoor dining.
Our waitress, Natalie, was exceptional, professional, knowledgeable, so very friendly, accommodating, attentive, patient, understanding, courteous, gracious and thoughtful. The two bartenders that serviced us at the bar with cocktails before dinner are equally professional, courteous and kind.
The food was superb, well prepared, and presented artfully and in good taste.
Our sincere gratitude, appreciation and thankfulness to the owner, chief, Natalie our waitress, and other staff members, all of whom deserve the best of comments from all customers who know the value and are able to appreciate the quality of the services the Staff provides at a level that is truly above and beyond the commonplace with exceptionally prepared appetizers and entrees.
My husband and I are from out of town, and when I saw this place as an option I knew I had to take him here. The food was fantastic and our server Alex was amazing, she was there personable and professional. She is the only reason I left the review as five out five. The dinner aspect was amazing all around. We proceeded to the cigar lounge after which my husband was extremely excited about, we were met by an extremely rude bartender. I can’t even tell you her name, because she never offered it. She acted like she was annoyed the whole time when taking my husbands drink and cigar order. If it were not for Alex I would have rated the service a 2. I know everyone has off nights but this was an exciting experience for my husband that got dampened by her demeanor.
We would absolutely come back next time in town but would hope for a better experience in the cigar lounge.
Wow this wine paring dinner was off the hook amazing! The food, presentation, and staff are the best of the best! Just hands down one of my favorite places to go! Check them out for yourself.
Overall good experience. The atmosphere is great for intimate gatherings or meeting up with friends after work. Had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, not bad, maybe a tad on the chewy side. Their signature dish, the cioppino, was good as well, the lobster was a little over cooked, but the rest of the dish was nicely prepared, although the broth could have used a bit more seasoning. The blackened grouper was tasty, topped with fried avocados, the accompanying vegetables made the dish. Lastly finished up with their house made cinnamon rolls, we werent impressed with those as much. They were small, a bit doughy and not really that sweet. Still enjoyed the night, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We celebrated our wedding here, just the two of us. Food, was unbelievable, the service and atmosphere were exactly what I envisioned for our wedding dinner and the lounge with live jazz music was the perfect touch. Michael T provided us great and fun service, but the entire staff was amazing from the time we walked in, to the time we left. Thank you to the Cioppino's staff for a memorable experience on our special day 🥰

We love coming here for the food, but there's also the music and cigar bar! This is a fantastic place to go out to dinner with your partner/a group of friends on the weekend; conveniently located in the strip district. Upscale casual. Friendly staff and great service. Did I mention delicious food? Prices are moderate, but they sometimes have specials/event pricing/pre fixe. Check website for details/call ahead for reservations. They're usually pretty busy, but you can get in. Take advantage of the location by shopping, setting a movie or live entertainment nearby.
Delicious and affordable only Saturday brunch. Ordered the keto Benedict, dulce de Leche donuts, and a mimosa. The mimosa only cost 3$ and tasted more or champagne than OJ. Our server was very nice and friendly and we were seated outside with a nice view of the Pittsburgh skyline.
