This is my second time at City Works. Both times, the service was excellent. I had the bacon cheeseburger and the chocolate peanut butter dessert. Both were excellent. The beer list is very good. The only thing that i could criticize are the prices. Two beers, the cheeseburger and dessert came to $38 not including tip. That makes City Works a place for the occasional visit as opposed to a daily lunch or dinner spot. But prices aside, I recommend City Works.
Genuinely surprised to see so many bad reviews, as we had an excellent time for New Years!! Great service, awesome and extensive beer menu, delicious cocktail menu, and perfect selection of food on the late night menu. Our party of 5 all agreed that this was a fun place to be. Plus we got a complimentary bottle of champagne to toast at midnight! We will be back.
Great place for American dining. The service was outstanding! Manager gave us free appetizer because we were first timers. I ordered brisket tacos and my wife got the meatloaf. Both were delicious 😋. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate large parties! Full bar and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend 💚 💯 💯
I can't imagine a better place to watch a game! My son and I were staying close and told if we wanted to watch the game. This was the spot. The service was good, and the place was jam-packed. We will definitely return next time we visit the Steel City!
Alexis was a great server. She was prompt taking and delivering our orders. She took time to chat with us and offered us recommendations on places to visit. We will come back.
Marketsquare and city works go side by side. They have beautifully designed menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There have huge beer on tap and wide variety of drinks menu. Bottlenectar beer is recommended. Food always clean and fresh with friendly service. They have impossible section vegans.
Our server Alexis was amazing. Super attentive, made great recommendations for appetizers and food. Would come back again for the Cheese Curds and the Crab Fondue were to die for
This place is great! Lovely atmosphere, and service was quick! Kenzie was our waiter, and she was amazing! Definitely the best waiter here.
So, we stumbled upon this place by accident. The restaurant we intended to go to was unexpectedly closed, and this was across the street… HAPPIEST ACCIDENT EVER! They play awesome music, the themed menu for Rock N Roll Brunch is so fun and clever, the food was delicious.. but Bri was the shining star of our experience!!! She was able to direct us to menu items that we loved, and was the perfect example of service with a smile. Ask for Bri if you come here!!!!!
Good menu! They make it hard to choose since there are so many appealing and interesting foods. (We had duck nachos which were great) It was our second time there and we sat at the bar both times since they were pretty busy. I would appreciate Porters and West Coast Hop forward IPAs on the menu, but I understand that is not a crowd favorite. Definitely recommend!
Bri was an excellent server. She was a pleasure to talk to. I got the platter with ribs, wings, pulled pork and more. Everything was delicious. Oh, GET THE BEER CHEESE SOUP. Fantastic.
Kenzi was a fantastic server. Very attentive and personable.
Big portion sizes and great quality for price.
