Very nice well put together place. Loved the style and very friendly service and owner. Food was impressive, had the drooling duck which was well made. Honey Butter Chips are a must with any meal. I also had the green beans which were tasty.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and all of the food was delicious. The duck was very tender. It was the best duck that I have eaten!
So delicious, and efficiently run (I think I only counted 2 people operating the whole restaurant). We went mostly vegetarian and the food was amassing. Cocktails and beer were good too - I’d probably skip the red wine for next time. One thing I wish they’d mentioned: the veggie tray comes with a portion of the smashed potatoes, we ended up eating a double helping ;)
This place will make you think you are in a cozy home having some tasty food. The food is cooked on an open wood grill so the vibe inside is chill with a hint of smoke. The service was fantastic and the food was great. Whether you are dining with by yourself or with a huge group of friends you will have a great evening here. The happy hour looked great and the reverse happy hour was even cooler.
The atmosphere here is really nice. Laid back and cool. Awesome music, amazing service. Our bartender was the best (Jenny I believe) also Molly. Both made us feel so welcome. Drinks were great, food was perfect. Seriously. The best food! Had three sardines special, omg, delicious. Lychee scallops, yummy.... can't wait to come back.
A really unique tapas style restaurant. One of our favorite Phoenix restaurants and place to go for date night. We would also bring visitors here! They have a few communal style tables inside and a dog friendly patio as well

Really cute little place. Great service, cocktails were interesting and well executed. The food menu looks so exciting! The description of flavors is so exciting, but almost everything we had fell a little flat. The spare ribs were plentiful and the sauce delicious, but so full of bones and cartilage they were awkward to eat. (Maybe that's just short ribs.) The sauce on the duck seemed a little too crusty but the duck was well cooked, moist tasty. The cheese/potato cakes were dry on the edges and SO GOOD in the middle. The smoked fish was perfection though. So, this place is great, and I would definitely go back, I just think I was slightly disappointed.
Been here twice now and absolutely love the small space and vibe in this restaurant. Seating is very limited and they also have bar seating. The food is excellent and is cooked over wood. Portions are small and the main meals feed 3-4 people. The roasted vegetables are a great starter. The duck and short ribs are both excellent options for the main meals. The duck can be a little spicy for some. In all highly recommend this place. Also the parking is extremely hard to come by and they direct you to a spot a little further down.
Simply delicious. The menu isn't large, but it doesn’t need to be. Whatever you select is sure to be beyond tasty. Good enough to warrant setting down your fork to savor the flavors and ponder each ingredient. I personally LOVE the cold noodle salad. I could eat this everyday. Aside from the food, the environment is nice and cozy. Also, the staff is so friendly and enthusiastic. You won’t go home disappointed.
I have no idea what South African food is supposed to taste like but it was really good--we had the spicy duck and grilled vegetables and they were both really special dishes. Its good to get dressed up for a date night but there are a few board games as well to keep things light if you want to just grab a drink. Awesome spot.
Great new restaurant and bar! We had the potato chips which were honey drizzled and the pork ribs were meaty and plenty for 2+. The prices were affordable and we were surprised at not only the quality of food but the drinks were all very reasonable prices. Not just a great neighborhood place but an amazing option for anyone looking for incredible food and service.
