My daughter was back in town from DC, and she wanted Rito's. I had never been, and I was so glad we did! The patio area is beautiful; weather permitting, sit outside. The food was awesome. The red salsa is my daughter's favorite, and it became mine real fast. So yummy! The tacos are extremely scrumptious! Make sure you try a taco. The meat is juicy and flavorful. We had both red Chile and green Chile burritos, and it is hard to choose a favorite. The meat is so tender and flavorful. I was greatly pleased and had lunch for the next day. The burritos are not for a tiny appetite. Our server was great! She kept our drinks and chips/salsa filled. It was a great meal in a great location. 💓 I will definitely be going back. The chips and salsa were delicious but the meat inside the burritos lacked flavor. The chili on top of the burritos definitely helped with the lack of flavor inside. I’ve been here before and their food is usually great, I’m not sure if it was an off day but I’d still return.
Food was great as usual. Today for lunch I tried the shredded chicken taco and a cheese enchilada. They served in to go containers because of an issue with their dishwasher but usually they serve on proper dishware. No complaints though, it was delicious! 😋
This is worth a pit stop, the breakfast was so good and the enchilada were the best enchiladas I've eaten at a Mexican restaurant. One of the salsas was a little too sour for me, almost vinegary. The tacos were amazing and crunchy. Also, everyone we spoke to was so friendly.
There was a 15 minute wait when we got there which was fine but the waiting area is right in the entrance in front of the door next to tables, it was very tight and weird. There were also tables open and clean without ppl sitting at them. There is a to-go window outside in case you want to order to go, that is convenient. The food was good and came out quick, it just didn't come out as listed on the menu on 2 of the 3 things we ordered. They were kinda busy so we left it as is. Our waitress was kind but she was not caring, she gave us our drinks and then our food and we didn't see her again until she asked if we needed a box and gave us our check!! We needed drink refills a little after our food came out! Other waiters were giving their customers refills. We will be back because the food is amazing and the prices are fair for the portions they give. For 3 ppl after tip we spent $91.
I got 3 tacos - chicken, shredded beef and carne asada - they were all great. It was about $6/taco but they give you free chips and salsa that is also very good. Free refills on fountain beverages and the staff is one of the best parts - all so super nice and helpful. I will be back!
We went to Ritos around lunch time on a weekday and we got a table within a few minutes. The tacos and enchiladas were good but the prices did not match up with the experience. Rice and beans are extra. Chips and salsa free / we added guacamole.
We were in the mood for ooey gooey Mexican food, so I Googled what was in the area and this was the closest. The atmosphere is very modern, not like a traditional Mexican restaurant so we were a bit hesitant. I had a blackberry margarita from their extensive margarita selection which was amazing. The food was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.
A classic Mexican food menu I remember getting food like this when I was a kid and Mexican restaurants here in Arizona. Great green chile burrito with enchilada style sauce on it and the beans and rice are absolutely perfect. Gil Chesterton would approve!😉
This was a good meal. 4 of us had dinner tonight and everyone liked their meal. I had the carni-chimi. The outside was flaky and the beef inside was tender and tasted good. The rice may have been the best rice I've had in a minute. The beans were good. I enjoyed it. The street tacos that Lauren had looked bomb! Riley had a chimi as well and she loved it. Greg had an enchilada and said the red sauce was great. The best part is the owners are local kids trying to hustle and that is worth the 5 star. Keep up the good work!!
