Delicious. Ordered a whole chicken, broccoli casserole, and potato salad to go for family dinner. Flavorful and juicy chicken, the BBQ is amazing, and the casserole is a new favorite. Potato salad is also quite good. Very reasonable prices. Courteous staff, efficient and friendly. 👍🏻 recommended. Small parking lot for three restaurants, so be patient.
Lamb BBQ is lovely. Brisket is really excellent. One of the best BBQ in the Valley. Tiny FF style dining room, in a lunch restaurant strip on Washington, but the BBQ is really outstanding.
Went to stop at one of the other establishments close by and they happened to have sold out so ran into Hap’s and we are SO glad we did! My husband had the brisket sandwich and said it’s one of the best brisket’s he has ever had, I had a bite and have to agree. I got the smoked chicken salad which was also amazing, light and hearty - some of the best smoked chicken I’ve had for sure. The staff was so inviting, cheery, and super helpful. We are definitely going back when we are back in town. Yum’a’liscious!!!
Phenomenal beef brisket, pulled pork, and beans! Walked in to a smiling, courteous, and extremely helpful service representative.
This was the best BBQ we have had! Pulled pork Tennessee style was outstanding! I could eat the beans by the gallon but that wouldn't be good for anyone 😉! My son sucked the rib bones dry, and my husband took off his shirt to eat his brisket sandwich. I will spare you all that photo! If you are in Phoenix or just passing thru make sure you hit Hap's Pit Barbecue.

I've been going to Hap's since 1996, when they were using a trailer on 24th St. and Washington. I know the family well. Their picture is on my den's "wall of fame".
I was traveling between my sold home and my new home and stopped in today.
I got the rib tips with hot sauce and a chicken sandwich also with hot sauce. I had the rib tips for dinner. As usual, tender perfectly smoked meat and excellent hot sauce taste.
Tomorrow's lunch will be the chicken sandwich.
One of the best BBQ places around the Phoenix area.

Awesome spot! Friendly staff, classic rock, cool murals on the walls and the best ribs I've ever had - they literally fell off the bone onto my plate. Will be back the next time I'm in Phoenix.
I got pulled pork on this trip. The food is good and reasonably priced. I was there during the lunch rush so there was a little bit of a wait, but it was just a few minutes.
Haps has been offering top quality smoked meats in Phoenix for almost 30 years now. This family run business is serving up some of the best barbecue in town with the same award winning rubs and sauce recipes dating back to their humble beginnings when they operated off of 24th street just south of Van Buren in the 90's with their custom built smoker. The spicy sauce is outstanding. The buns hold up to the piled high brisket or whatever you choose. All of the sides are great compliments to the meals and you can even get single ribs. Try catering for your next party, you won't be dissatisfied.
