The walk-up window makes it convenient to grab a slice on the go. They also have outdoor seating on the sidewalk if you want to hang out for a few.
Pizza is thin crust and yummy. Good amount of cheese too! Cash or Venmo only.
Wow!!!
Philly cheesesteak, margherita, Buffalo Chicken, square slice... It was all FANTASTIC!
Can't wait to come back 👍👍
OMG, this place was so good! We were visiting the Italian Market on a glorious fall day, and wanted stromboli or a calzone. My husband found this place and ordered a stromboli - you can't go in, you have to order through the window, which we found charming - and when it came it was ENORMOUS, far bigger than we had expected. But it was a welcome surprise! We ate some for lunch and then brought the rest home to keep for tomorrow's dinner. It was delectable, among the best Italian food I've ever had.
We sat outside at a simple table on the sidewalk and it was just lovely - sparrows coming and going, dogs stopping to drink from the water dish kindly placed outside the store, fall color everywhere. And the staff so friendly and kind. Loved it.
Hard to beat a $3 slice of tomato pie! They’re currently serving out of a window (though they have outdoor seating available) and you can pay via Venmo as they heat your slice up.
Excellent pizza! Stumbled on this place by chance nestled in the Italian Market 9th St. We had a large pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, onions, and spinach. The place had a small limited outside dining area, which we passed on, but I can see the charm it might have provided to a dining experience. We opted to take our pizza back to our rental. I highly recommend the pizza.
My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming to Nannie Franco’s, grabbing a slice or two and just relaxing next to the shop. The crust is so good, and it’s just a really delicious quick and easy pizza spot. Remember - cash only!
My favorite pizza place in South philly
The pizza is super crunchy not soggy at all and the combinations are unique. I would recommend both the Ricotta and Spinach pizza along with the Hawaiian pizza. The ricotta was extremely smooth and the perfect complement to the spinach; the dough as well is light and fluffy. Additionally, I went on Pie Day (3/14), and right before closing up the owners were very kind and offered my girlfriend and I hot garlic knots with a side of marinara sauce because they had extra dough they were just trying to use up (see pictures). I will definitely be going back. I liked this place better than Lorenzo's pizza and Napoli's pizza.
Cute and tasty.
For 4$/slice the slice should have been double the size.
Otherwise it was still yummy.
i dont remember enjoying a slice of pizza this much in a WHILE. Made it into the Top 5 Pizza’s i’ve had in my life lol
