Lived in the neighborhood most of my life and never went in there,one day i decided to stop in and wow.... cheese steaks are awesome,and the lunch meat is not only fresh but good quality..if you havnt been there you should stop in..and the staff are very friendly makes you feel like your family..
Delicious sandwiches, ckicken cutlets are cooked to perfection always fresh. They do catering and deliver plus it is a family owned operation!

Mi Pal's was the perfect pit stop on our way from Philly to Wildwood! We got 6 sandwiches and they were all made perfectly and delicious. Plus, there were tasty vegan options!
Got their Italian with some modifications, sandwich was huge and absolutely loaded with meat. Asked for it with oil, vinegar & mayo and it was dressed perfectly. Seeded roll was so fresh, provolone sharp as can be, and service was friendly. I’ll definitely be back and recommend Mi Pals to anyone looking for a top notch deli.

Now that's what I call a hoagie. Picked up Mi Pals for the first time today, and it definitely won't be the last time!
The Inferno Italian and Caprese Cutlet were both executed perfectly. The seeded rolls were fresh and soft with a great chew. The fill on both sandwiches had a nicely balanced ratio of quality ingredients and the perfect amount of moisture. I was also impressed with how well they traveled — these bad boys took a 20ish minute walk home with me and were still slap-your-momma good by the time I made it home. Hard to say which 'wich was better because they were both so different. As a spicy lover I was in heaven inhaling the inferno — the long hots bring a great level of heat that warms up the palate but doesn't overwhelm the flavors of the capicola, prosciutto, & provolone. On the flip side the quality of the cutlet, sweetness of the balsamic and creaminess of the mozz on the caprese my husband picked almost made me cry tears of joy. Either pick is a fantastic choice that I'd recommend whole-heartedly.
The affordable pricing makes this corner joint a great value and eases any guilt I may feel about future hoagie binges. I have plans to sample different sandwiches and some of the tasty-looking sides sometime soon, so feel free to follow my posts if you'd be interested in reading my update!

Round 2! Made it about a week before I had to go back. Tried the inferno turkey this time along with the potato salad, while my husband requested the caprese cutlet — unsurprisingly, given he has awarded this hoagie GOAT status. These absolute legends did it AGAIN. Consistency for this Deli is on point. The potato salad was good, but not quite on the cosmic level of Mi Pal's hoagie game. The turkey inferno is phenomenal (added some roasted red peppers to get some extra veg & feel better about housing this monster) but I feel I have to give a slight edge to the Italian.
Some of the best sandwiches in South Philly, and that's a crowded market. Also as a vegetarian, I really appreciate that their meatless sandwiches are just as good as the "standard" ones, with plenty of options and good quality ingredients.
I had a corned beef special and it was fantastic. This was my first time eating from here and I can't wait to try other things on the menu! Too bad I didn't take a picture of the sandwich because it looked amazing but I gobbled it up before I thought to photograph it.
My team @ work orders at least once a week! Everything is so good… Twice now, we’ve done a catering menu for dinner and it’s delivered hot and delicious! The staff is always super friendly when we call to order, and the delivery guys are super nice!
The food was fantastic and the staff is super friendly. Definitely the best lunch I had while I was in Philadelphia.
