I had the waffle and fried chicken. The waffle alone was amazingly delicious 😋 and the chicken was juicy was great too. The Brussels was different but extremely good. The goat's cheese made it super nice. I had it without bacon. The place is so cute
Love the decoration and all. I love the open kitchen where you can see everything and it's nice a clean. Why not 5 stars, The bar chairs were super comfortable. I guess if you are a big girl then it's not good to sit.
The chicken & waffles will be at the banqueting table in heaven. I had an experience with this food and so did the Temple students I treated to brunch. My complements to the chef & creator of this recipe. Phenomenal!!!
My husband and I came into the restaurant and was greeted and seated immediately. Our order was taken and delivered in a timely manner. The food was DELICIOUS!! The portion sizes were generous. We even had enough to take home for the next day. We ordered wings, shrimp and lobster cheese fries, and a salmon grilled cheese. The decor was was nicely decorated. I loved the accent wall. We will definitely be back when we come to Philly. 💗
The place is cute and definitely a smaller space. Gotta get in there earlier for better seating and quicker service. Got in just after 10am on Sunday morning for food. Did not take too long to get food. I liked the crab omelette and I rate it a strong 8 out of 10. I am happy to have been able support this black woman owned business!
Absolutely wonderful. This establishment was amazing. From the time we walked in until the time we left it was amazing. The food was delicious and Kevin you rocked. If your ever in the area, go eat at "PRETTY GIRLS COOKS". U will not be disappointed.
The food and service were top tier! Our waiter, Kevin, was nothing short of amazing! He made sure we understood the menu and made great recommendations. The atmosphere has a fun and free vibe! If I lived closer, this establishment would be one of my regulars.
Yes I been there a couple of times..The Shrimp & Grits were really good..but I think the server was in need of more training.. The atmosphere was ok..And it stays crowded.. Also not parking Friendly. Very hard to find a parking spot 😕!!
This is a small place. All the tables are pretty close together, which was a bit uncomfortable at first. But I hope they're able to expand one day, because the food is great. Me and my group came in for brunch and got everything that is pictured here except for the crab Omelet and Chicken and waffles. The presentation on the shrimp and grits definitely could have been a lot neater and refined. And The Carafe of Mimosa could have definitely been bigger. I need to see if they have a bottomless mimosa option. All in all, I'll definitely be back because it's a pretty lit spot for maybe a date or a smaller group.
