Just had St Joseph's cakes from Potito's. They were outstanding!!! I grew up nearby and would always go there for all their pastries. Since I moved away I have been unable to get there but I always try and make a trip there once a year, for the St Joseph's cakes. This year, the owner went out of his way and shipped them to us. An outstanding owner/ business with must try pastries. A true South Philly gem. The "BEST" on planet Earth!!!
A great Italian Bakery for cakes, pies, cookies and pastries.
Like many South Philly businesses, they're right on the corner. That means parking is a problem. But if you want great baked goods, you won't worry about the parking. Find the space and go satisfy your taste buds. Get some cannoli or some pastries. You'll be happy you did.

Love their donuts, danish and their cannoli and cookies. ( their amarettos and pignollis melt in your mouth)
Their new hazelnut cannoli is AMAZING! IT's like a chocolate hazelnut spread but not too sweet.

The Real Deal. The Italian Rum Cake is unbelievable. The Cheese Danish is the best in the city.

Best butter cookies around, great people, and their sticky buns are small bundles of tastebud joy....get their early for the best selection!
The one by fairmount may have just closed, but Potitos is great! I had one of their cakes for a Christening and everyone raved about it.
Customer Service was great!! Always have had great experiences , will order again!!
