Gino's is one of the best Italian restaurants in N.E. Philly. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is great. The food is absolutely delicious and includes recipes handed down by a traditional Italian family. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, but is available on Sunday for private parties. Ask for a Catering menu to book your party. This little gem of a restaurant deserves a visit if you haven't been there already. You won't be disappointed.

Would like to start out saying service was great. We had a large order and everything came out perfectly. I had fries and a pepperoni pizza steak. Steak was full of meat but there wasn't very much pepperoni on it. Good size order of fries which were nice and crispy.

This place doesn't need a review. In fact I'm dissapointed at myself for not finding Gino's sooner. If you're from the NE, then you already know that's there's a pizza shop on every corner for every palate and at every price point. We were in the mood for pizza one week and decided to give Gino's a try. A little time has past since we had pizza and I was watching food reviews all night so now it was 9pm and I was really craving a slice. I made a call and 15 minutes later my pie was ready for pickup. First impressions...beautiful looking pie. I love the blisters on the crust and cheese. I ordered both mushrooms and sausage and there are ample toppings on the pie. Nice quality cheese with good amount of grease and plenty of pull with a little chew..which is how I like it. The sauce really shines, saucy with tomato flavor and finishes slightly sweet. The dough is slightly sweet with some nice air pockets. Not too doughy but with just the right amount of weight to hold a slice together. Service was fast and friendly and accurate. It's been 2 weeks and I've had pizza from these guys 4 times...(we usually only have pizza once a month at the most) already having also tried their wings and onion rings Pie with 2 toppings $15. Pro tip: Ask for thin crust and pepperoni. If you found this review helpful, then please click on the "thumbs up" icon below so that I can continue to provide useful reviews like this one.

We ordered take out from Gino’s Pizza Cafe. My wife and I used to go there regularly when we lived closer. I tried their linguini and clams and bread. Our order was available when we arrived and was packaged well. We asked for extra bread and they took care of us. The bread is an Italian bread and it’s delicious. It has the perfect outer crust, puffy inside and a chew to it. The linguini and clams was excellent. It was seasoned well with pepper and garlic. The clams tasted fresh and they were cooked properly. No burnt shells. The only thing I could recommend is giving a little more in the portion because we loved it so much. My father enjoyed it as well and he is a tough critic of pasta. We will be grabbing more take out in the future.

Came into town and ask a local for a recommendation. Glad we listened and went. Very clean carry out, food was fresh and hot. Reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to going back. A+.

An unsuspecting gem, Gino's is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. While not lavish surroundings, it's cozy. The food is fantastic. My family and I shared the calamari and caprese to start. Ample portions, made perfectly. All of our entrees were terrific. We all had the soup that came with dinner. It was so delicious! I was excited to get full while eating my entree of lobster ravioli so I could bring it home to enjoy again the next day. The service was wonderful, too. All this for a great price. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have ordered from here at least 3 times a month for years. I have never had a bad experience. The pizza is great, the sandwiches are top notch, and the pasta is just what they say it is, Delicious.

Great food, chilled, relaxed & pleasant atmosphere, impectable service, kind and curtious waitresses staff and bartenders, very clean and cozy place to eat Italian foods or take out, their pizza 🍕 is one of the best in the city 😋 let alone the North East Philly, located in the heart of Mayfair section of Philadelphia, on the Corner of Frankford Ave & Aldine St. One block north of Cottman Ave west side of Frankford Ave.
