Best Pizza in Old City. Pete is the man and is the only real pizza in the area.

Easily the best slice in old city & possibly the best football style pizza in Philly. Great sauce and has crispy crust but not cut your mouth crispy. Walked in on a whim one night and was stoked to find this gem. Only my second ever google review- so I’m vouching hard.

Pete is the man and his pizza is 100% legit. We stayed at Hotel Monaco for a couple shows at the Filmore and he was open late. Not only was the pizza deliciously simple and full of flavor and texture, but Pete was like an old neighbor that you’ve known for years. Pete’s Pizza Joint is fully recommend. Thanks Pete, I wish we had you in Pittsburgh!

New York style pizza in Philadelphia. Thin crispy crust, just the right amount of toppings. Nothing fancy just very good 18" pizza. Pete is a great guy to talk to so go visit, eat some pizza and enjoy the stories. The only complaint I have is it they don't deliver unless you want to use Uber delivery which is incredibly expensive and way overpriced.

Good place for a late evening slice of pizza. Nothing fancy. Paper plates and cheap napkins. Pizza is ok. The fun part is being in the little dive. We were the only customers at the time and Pete played one his guitar pieces for us..

Best New York thin crust pizza in Philadelphia. Slices as big as your face with homemade sauce and fresh toppings. Take out or eat in. I always eat in because Pete is not only a businessman, he's a bit of a social philosopher giving advice on what classes to take in grad school to how to solve the national debt. The price is EXTREMELY reasonable and he always serves everything you get with a smile. How can you beat that one?

Great slices, old school new york thin crust, cool owner who runs the joint and likes to talk if you want to but just serves you up if you dont. Ate the whole slice at the counter talking with him. Great joint the likes of which you are hard to find these days. Open late and bomb

He's been my go-to pizza spot for years in Old City. He's from Long Island (so he knows what he's doing) and he puts out delicious, affordable pizza with flavorful sauce and perfect crust. On top of it all, Pete's a supremely interesting guy and great to chat with if you're a regular.

Just moved to the neighborhood from Rittenhouse. Pete's is small and cash only so I was hesitant at first but hands down best pizza I've ever had in Philly. The crust is perfection every time!

People like Phillip and that random mom are clearly communists who hate our way of life. Pete is the man, the pizza is good, it's open late. If you can't handle a little NY 'tude stick to shoving cheesesteaks down your uncultured gullet.
